I have to say that out of the 6 or 7 Vietnamese women I've fucked, just about all of them have been starfishes. Some of them were P4P and others were freebies. I disagree I ahve been here over 4 yrs and on average get 5-8 freebies each year all the girls in the 20-30 range and very few were starfish, yhe ones who end up being starfish are p4p and even they tend to be a minority.

I stayed at the Sheraton Hanoi for a few nights a couple of weeks back. I only got to Nuts once, and it was Monday I think. Music was loud and bar was fairly empty, but there were a few decent girls in there. Pizza was good too!

I had a drink with one that spoke half decent English, and told her I was staying at the Sheraton. She said she could come to my room. But from what I understand from elsewhere on the site that seems unlikely unless something has changed.

I've never tried Fortuna myself, but your experiences sound in line with what everyone else reports. And as far as I know, Fortuna is the only place in Hanoi that has a proper system set up. Nutz is the only other bar known of in Hanoi where a large number of working girls can be found and are tolerated.

One thing I would like to add is, that I never saw Hanoi Hotel being named that much here. I think it is much better option than Nutz. Also, it is quite better than Fortuna in the aspect that you just go, talk to mamasan, pick up a girl for the night. Fortuna, the last time I went, insisted that I drink there and spend some money before taking the girl out. Also, I believe they have started a policy of 'smart casuals' as I saw a guy denied entry because of improper dress code. That sucks.

On the massage parlor front, I think most of the reviews here have been spot on. On the premium side, there is Oasis II, Moscow, Kingston etc. I think Oasis II is the best option, while Moscow is really a hit and miss option, depending on the girl. If you get the wrong one, it is 1 million down the drain.

One of them is an alley in Duong Hong Ha, where lot of girls on motorbike will become ready for around 500k VND and will even provide you their own hotel room. Your prices too are pretty much on the mark. Fortuna and Nutz have their location premiums, but that said, it will be difficult to find decent girls with a basic command of English that will go for less. There are areas to head in the city where you can get ST for as little as 500k VND, but not everyone is satisfied with the quality of the girl they will get for that price or the conditions they will be in while doing the deed.

I have a contact for a girl that fluent in English and she wouldn't go for much less than 3M ST and 4M LT and then you have to provide the location yourself.

To be honest Hanoi is a sellers market when looking for quality and you either have to stick that or lower your standards.

A lot also depends on whether you are a visitor or expat, how easily you can get around (ie do you have a motorbike) , and whether or not you have your own place to host.

There is also the suggestion that some people here have of taking the time to cultivate a relationship with a girl via something like The New Hanoian website. But that will take time and cost money and probably would total up more than you are spending at somewhere like Fortuna, with no guarantees at the end of it. Personally this has never been a route I have considered; I prefer to keep it all on a strictly business level to remove the complications of relationships that will inevitably ensue.

Like I say, you are not going to find what you are looking for here in Hanoi. All I can suggest is read back through the forum and see if any of the experiences of mine or others piques your interest and give them a go or ask for more info.
