Posts: 977Excuse my ignorance but prices
Looking on the Goihang site. Prices stated are between 400,000 to 700,000 some a little more -400 k = 16 US, 700 k =28 US Surely these can't be the prices. Can they?

Posts: 52Clarifications of Abbreviations WC etc.
I managed to RTTF and get into a few telegram groups promoting massages in Hanoi.
A few of them advertise Full service, WC and CIA.
I have not seen these acronyms before. Can someone help decode?
Also does Full service mean here what it does elsewhere in the world?

I never paid upfront. If reception asks to pay upfront, I just refuse. Same as girls, never pay them upfront. Locals all never upfront for anything, only pay afterwards.
Gaito in Hanoi are mostly independents. They can be tricky. I had a couple baits and switches that I reported. When a girl shows up different or significantly older or chunkier than pics, I would turn them down to teach them lessons. I would not even give them bike money.
Gaito in Cau Giay and Dong the seem more professional. They work out of nice hotels and I did not have any problems. Stick to those 2 districts, or better yet go to HCMC where there are 20 x more girls posting in Gaito.
Number of girls posting in Hanoi has gone down by about 5 x in the last year or so. Looks like police has been busting them. So the best -looking ones would not risk arrests in Hanoi. They may have moved down to HCMC where the laws are rarely enforced.

Posts: 52A short trip to Hanoi
Hi,
I'm heading to Hanoi on a short trip. Just a few days. In the next month.
Looking for Spas with FS options and young good looking girls.
Would have loved to go to HCMC but this trip is what it is. Cannot be changed.
Any pointers to help a brother out is much appreciated.
I am from India BTW.
PM is open.
Thank you for your time and help.

Question for those punters traveling to seedy hotels to meet ladies on Gaito, Checkerviet, Kynuviet, etc.
Do you pay in advance? Another bad experience today. Person was fatter / older than photos and not very friendly (but very friendly SMS messages). She asked for money in advance, was seriously considering rejecting her but thought, what the hell, give it a shot. Paid, and she was mumbling something in Vietnamese, lame hand job, couldn't get rerect, told her to leave after 1 minute, pissed that I gave her money.
Anyone with good experience on websites, please post links. There must be good ones out there, but so far it's been mostly unfriendly pigs. And how do you pay. Upfront or after?

Posts: 6519Hotel A25, Luong Ngoc Quyen
A25 has about 20 locations in Vietnam. They don't hang signs outside but I am pretty sure they all rent by the hour. Ask them for their 2-hour rate, likely 100 K VNd or $4.
The A25 on 267 Pham Ngu Lao HCMC sure rents by the hour. I have seen many guys checked in and waited for girls. A couple Gaito girls work out of that location, hang out all night, but too old and ugly for me. The security guy took me on his bike to find girls sitting in bars or on streets in the back-packer district. Talked to half a dozen but they were either too old, too ugly or younger with way too many tats. I told him I would only sleep with 9's or 10's, no ugly trash.
That hotel is very well managed and run, nice, fairly clean for Hanoi, good free breakfast, unlike most other small hotels in Vietnam. I prefer it as it's the only girl-friendly hotels that each room has a streaming large screen TV that works and shows all Roku channels. Each room also has all supplies, including bath robes, tooth brushes, Q tips ect. , a very thoughtfully-managed hotel.
The chef at this Luong Ngoc Quyen, Hanoi location makes delish Pho for breakfast, among other items, every morning, also a good breakfast buffet on weekend. I gave her and the workers good tips since they took good care of me.
Right next to this hotel is an AYCE Korean beef and seafood grill, $10. There are probably hundreds restaurants and street food carts near this hotel. A couple steak places nearby grill tender, tasty steaks for $5.

Posts: 9Does anyone have a recommendation for a short time hotel (guest friendly, obviously) around the Hoan Kiem lake area? Looking for a place for a few hours that isn't a complete dump but doesn't need to be height of luxury either. Thank you in advance!
