One way around being at hotel reception with a Western guy would be for your Vietnamese lady to check into the hotel & rent a place there on her own, from about $5 & up. Then she could discretely slip over to your room or suite in the same hotel for the main event.

With hotels being more likely to be full of foreigners & apartment buildings full of local Viet people, I have to wonder if it would be the latter where she'd be more likely to be recogized. Though in a city of over 6 million people, it seems like quite a longshot in either case.

Moreover as you took some ladies out for dinner, it seems they are not that concerned about being seen in public with a foreigner.

Hotels, rather than apartments, are places where business meet ups often occur. If your VN girl wanted to play the game of Ms innocent, she could come to your hotel in the appearance of business attire. Or if you are into girls in uniform, she might come dressed up as a doctor or nurse & pretend she's visiting a patient. You might want to inform reception in advance that you are sick & help is on the way.

If your hotel has a bar or restaurant or MP etc in it or nearby, there is the option of offering to meet her there first before inviting her inside for some horizontal fun. Let her have a bottle or two of wine, first, if she likes, to set her heart at ease.

I am no young stud and was 53 with a few extra pounds when I was living in Hanoi so there is hope for everyone although I must admit that I don't think I would have had as much success if I hadn't had an apartment.
