Anywhere between 500 k to 1000 k for st is normal. At some shops cartering foreigners they charge 1000-2000 k for st. But to be honest, even for 300 k you can find decent girls for a good release. Nothing beats release in a good looking MILF for 300 k.

Has anyone used Massage Republic or City of Love Escorts. They have many ads for each city and prices are varied. Based on your recommendations, I decided to stay in the Fortuna hotel.

Went to the basement club, and ordered one beer. Been brought 7 cans - 150,000 each (market price 15,000). They explained this by "minimum spend limit" - I have to order for 1 mln. That is ok, but I prefer to choose what to order myself.

Girl who joined me offered to get to my room for 3 mln. She was nice, so I agreed and asked for the bill.

The bill was 2,000,000 - I have to pay for her sitting with me 1 mln more, and it is not included in her 3 mln price!

Still ok. Looks like a bar fine, I should be warned in advance, but ok.

But then mamasan demanded payment for herself! Then I refused. She took my wallet and took several 200,000 bills! It is not ok!

I said I do not want to deal with them, and that I want leave immediately. And they said I cannot! If I do not take the girl with me. I have to pay 1 mln more, or they will not allow me to leave! Thai is totally not OK!

I never conflict with locals, so I have paid.

So, less than 1 hour in a mediocre bar and 3 Heineken cans cost me 3 mln.

What do you think? Should I be paying 1 mln to mamasan too? Do you think 6 mln for ST is a good bargain?

I have been to Kiev in Ukraine always but sadly now it is under war. I am trying to go for Hanoi now as I like Chinese type of fair girls. I think Hanoi is near China as compared to HCMC and so ending up going to Hanoi even though HCMC has better monger facilities.

Let me know if Hanoi has fairer girls than HCMC.

In my view, Little Japan places (like Linh cherry) in Saigon are far better than fortuna hotel in Hanoi. Not sure what's the view of veterans here as I have been to both places only once.

I have lived in Hanoi for 10 years. I am able to speak Vietnamese. There is so much misinformation and terrible places that people go to when they come to Hanoi. If anyone wants to meet up when they come to Hanoi let me know. I can show you around and give you some tips on how things work in Hanoi. I'm probably going to catch some flak for even going here, but I have my reasons. Neko doesn't offer FS. Nothing I saw at Tom's bar or thereabouts seemed interesting. I'm not a regular traveler to Vietnam on business who has connections. I was just there to have fun, and 95% of what I was focused on was above-board tourism, and I didn't particularly want to waste precious time with apps that may not pan out. Frankly I had more money than time on my hands -so off to try my fortunes at Fortuna. Here's my story.

Night 1: Well first off, their "system" is not ideal, but I suppose I knew that going in. There's a $50 "drinking" fee. I don't know how much drinks it covers, but I never ran up against the ceiling, and knew I probably wouldn't unless drinks were outrageously priced. The $40 "sitting fee" is more objectionable, but at that point it's "in for a penny, in for a pound. " Then there's a "suggested" tip for the mamasan, strongly hinted at around $30-40. You can't simply come in and seat yourself at the bar and peruse the scene the way I would have wanted.

Plus $130 for the girl.

They bring them out in groups of 10 or so, and if you don't like what you see, they bring out another group. So selection is good. I hear there's another room in the back, where they supposedly have "better," "newer" talent. But they said it was "full. " Hmmm. Maybe I should've held out. But I found one smiling young cutie who was acceptable. Looks 7/10, but she was friendly and that helps.

Oh, and there's the matter of the room. My hotel is supposedly "guest friendly," but I'd already asked them for a lot, and I just didn't feel like the hassle of testing it out was worth it. $40 gets you a decent room right there in the hotel. Just to make things hassle-free. Service was good. Body wasn't perfect -once she took off the dress, you could see she wasn't amazingly fit, but again, friendly and enthusiastic. Practically begged me for a second shot (more money, I'm sure). But by then I was good.

Thanks for sharing a very detailed Fortuna experience. Totally get why you'd go this route on a short trip. I happen to live here so that wouldn't be the best option for me, however, I do use your method when I visit some massage parlors I visit (getting their # for a follow up visit for FS at a hotel, if they are game). How do I get my pm able to receive? Who can turn it on? Vietnam prices range dramatically, I know places as cheap as $8 and up to $250 depends what you want. Average for something really hot $20-35, but these are local prices, I speak Vietnamese and know my way around etc etc, as a foreigner things are different if you can't communicate but there are tons of options here for anything and everything. I am constantly discovering little pockets of action, its great!

Can you post recommendations? Going to VN soon and your messages don't work.

Says she's a professional who works in a big international firm by day (won't say her name, or what she does, or what firm, and you'll understand why in a minute). But the salary is low, and a friend told her she should try this place and she'd make a lot more money.

Anyway, can't complain about the sex. I think she wanted me to finish quicker, but she definitely tried to put on a good show.

I can just imagine. Your company sends you on a business trip. You're fantasizing about that Viet hottie in say, marketing, and there she is for the asking at Fortuna!

I knew I'd be back in Hanoi one more time mid-week, so at the end, I asked her what my prospects were of running into her again. Unfortunately she said no -like she said, she has a regular job, and only does this on the weekends. Well then. What about meeting up Outside of this place in the middle of the week? She said I can't tell mamasan, because she'd get in trouble if she did that, but basically, Yes. So we exchanged WhatsApp numbers and off I went.

So there is definitely that option -go there, find someone you like, and see if you can arrange to meet elsewhere on her day off. Should definitely cut down on costs.

As it happened, when I came back, I met some people, we went out drinking, and the rest was history. I usually find that if you try and relive the same experience, it rarely lives up to expectations anyway.

So did I overpay? Of course. Some would call it a ripoff, and they're not wrong. Everybody gets their cut -mamasan, the bar, the hotel, probably the mafia. But at the end of the day, you get hassle-free, enthusiastic full service -not with an average-looking girl, but with a real Viet hottie with zero prior time investment.
