You can challenge me if you like but there is little point as you have indicated that you don't believe me.
Myself and Dirty Dog were posting here many years ago and had similar experiences. So, Mr. Tran I am no newcomer just can't be bothered in most instances to spoil my sectets.
I often have massage and hot toc and I know the going rate. I would be happy to take anyone along to my usual Hot Toc (VND 70,000 including, shampoo, face massage and BJ - no tip necessary) so long as you're paying.
Firstly, if I go to a new place I am invited by Vietnamese friends and colleagues if I choose to go back alone at a later date I am welcomed back. I have even told European friends addresses and they have had the same experience.
I know many girls here who will not service people of Indian or African descent. It's a fact. Which is why Mr. Tran, your friend may not get what he wants for the price. It also depend son how successful they have been that day.
Case Study, I am sure that some VK do come back for the reason you expressed and to those I apologise for my rant.
Deuce, I agree with you about obese, pot bellied etc, foreigners here.
But, this is not helping people who need information.

You guys beat me to the punch. I dont mean to cramp everyone's style because the reason why most of us are here is because we like to have fun. I'll just leave it as that though would have to disagree with Rude Beast about the VK's.
The fact is most of us VK go back to VN because we love the country and if circumstances were different we would not have left in the first place.
That aside, man does anyone else agree with me that the Apocalypse Now have the highest pretty girls to guys ratio? I had heard of the place but because I was with my lady for 90 % of my last visit I couldnt really venture out. If anyone have had a positive experience with the girls there, let me know details.

Rudebeast is a rude beast. His name means he can jump on everyone without being afraid of being called rude. Well, I think he has some reading and behavioral problems that he may need to improve. I am here to help him achieve that.
Rudebeast,
Your guideline sucks as it proved you have no clue what is going on in massage places. An East Indian friend of mine is also cheap like you and he could not get any HJ/BJ/FS. May I challenge you to share us some of your experiences?

Rude Beast, yes I'm a Vietkieu. If you there are too many VK in vietnam, then IMHO I see Just As Many Obese/pot-bellied, Elderly, Bald, Obnoxiously drunk, nonvietnamese low-class foreigners in Vietnam who "come back thinking they are king trying to impress very young girls by buying them food! " So I really don't think you should go judging who the VK are; and I won't judge the nonvietnamese foreigners unless you provoke it, Rude Beast.
Anyway, anyone visit SpaTropic? Looks like a great place for a worldclass massage; and I'm unclear if there are any extras there, although I would guess it would be a lot more expensive than anywhere else.
Again, anyone who wants to meet up to fellow monger in HCMC during the month of April, please let me know.
Have fun getting some titty.

What do you mean "to be negative about the whole experience"? As you seem to be a newcommer here I expect you need to follow the readings more carefully and may need to improve your reading efficiency a bit more
Ngu Trua litterally means short nap and of course we (you and I) know it means a bit more than that. Being an expatriat and being able to read some Viet news should help me understand what "ngu trua" really means. It is no more than short nap with a girl next to you for groping, chatting, and no fucking, period. What else does it mean? You tell us!

Staff will not go to your room. Instead step outside your hotel. Go south one block. East one block pass the park. South again one block. You'll be in the vincinity of a dozen bars and a few clubs. Go in and have a few drinks and girls will approach you. Have fun, i'll come up with some actual names as soon as i remember them. It's been about 9 months since i was there last.

Posts: 13Apologies Mike, I was thinking of massage when you were asking about barber shops. There are a few places on Ham Nghi and the bottom end of Pasteur (near Ham Nghi). generally though near sheraton you are limited - I head out along Dien Bien Phu and near the Eastern Bus Station.. I did hear from a Korean friend that the place near hien & Bob's has extras and the place behind Mai Linh offices (opposite Monkey bar) also has extras.

Yes, Ngu Trua means literally "short nap at lunch time" but it doesn't mean that. As a VK I would expect you to know that. and, I can't believe your fascination in Maxim's. Having read your previous posts I'm not sure why you are in this forum as you seem from memory to be negative about the whole experience. (of course as English is obviously your second language I could be completely missing the point of what you are trying to say).
Mike, what do you mean by "extras", most massages will do HJ's. Especially state owned hotels such as HS down from Sheraton with the 50,000VND for 30 minutes massage. Of course you have to negotiate the tip I generally follow this guideline: HJ: 100K, BJ, 150K, FS upto 300K and no service 50k depending on how surly she gets.
Deuce, do you mean you want more VK here or there are too many. IMHO there are too many. They spend three years working in kitchens and stacking supermarket shelves and come back thinking they are king trying to impress young girls by buying bottles of Remy or Henessy.

Posts: 246I did. This new fad is popular in Hanoi area but I am not sure about SaiGon. "Ngu trua" means short nap at lunch time which I think is useless unless all you want is to meet girls. In that case go to Maxim (close to the Grand) instead.

Posts: 9Did someone hear already once something over "Ngu trua om"?
I read the following article:
"Ngu trua om" is newest fashion in Viet Nam. One can select girls select by many girls (only beautiful) and go together into a room where you can smoke, drunk, speaking and naturally kissing as well is permitted. The price is approx. 40000 Viet Nam Dong (2.5 euro) plus tip and cigarette, beer, dte, naturally with superelevated prices. If one other needs has, can one with the girls constitute and after the work time (9-22,00 o'clock) meet. The girls do not have secured income separate get 5% of their earned and tip of the guests.
Did someone know such a place in Saigon?

A room at Hai Wan hotel is $15/night. It's not a good hotel for business trips but it is a good hotel to take a SW.

I always go to HCMC for business so I stay in a 4-5 star hote. Anyway, as said by another monger "your advice is priceless". Will bear that in mind if ever I go to HCMC just for fun.
Whisper1,
How much is the room rate at the Hai Wan? Maybe I will stay there next time. Is it a good hotel for business trips?
