My earlier conclusion that Heat Disco has barred all FL was only a half truth. Actually, the barring only applies on Friday and Saturday nites when the place is filled to the max with clubber. It makes sense that Heat is doing so because the FLs will only spend the minimum inside the disco compared to the freespending Saigon youths. Therefore, on these nites the FLs have no choice but to hang outside the disco.

Today it's business as usual inside the disco. They, the FLs can usually be found hanging ard the bar, looking displaced even bored. There are 2 bars in opposite ends of the disco. Common sense will tell you they will usually be at the bar further away from the dance floor and the blarring music. Rarely will they have alcohol, mostly orange juice or fruit juice. Cos they have to WORK!

Earlier I manage to sneak into the Vietnam Fashion Week show at the Opera house between Continental Hotel and Caravelle Hotel. Apparently the guests are by invitation only. Whoa! True blue Vietnamese runway models, about 20 of them!!! Not only do they look good, they "sashay" so very suggestively down the runway too. Took many pictures and short video clips. Anyone interested to view them? If there are enough interest I will upload them.

I hv always fantasized about doing a threesome with pair of identical twin runway models. Well, I can dream on, can't I?

Hey, hey, hey, finally got to the Saigon Water Park. I only saw one bikini babe but nvm, all the "wet t-shirts" made-up for it.

You see, many of the gals came with light coloured blouse with also light coloured bras underneath, and when they are wet, you could actually see their darker, protruding nipples. Some of the younger gals are even naive enough to come with their training bras, which are thin and when wet, you could literally see thru them. But still it's not the best yet. One came braless, yet wore a light colored top! That was the best!!!

The crazy thing is that they allow cameras into the waterpark. Even crazier is that they have a Sony booth setup to rent-out videocams for use in the waterpark. I could see many Vietnamese guys positioning themselves at strategic positions to capture all these "freeshows". Their favourite strategic position is at the "mattress slide" where one slide downwards headfirst on one's stomach . Whoa so many wet downblouse, it's crazy!

I brought my underwater camera and my digital camera but did not take any pictures. I was intimidated by the daring Vietnamese "videographers" perhaps.

Here are the details about the SWP:
1.SWP charter-bus (5000 VND/one way) from Ben Thanh Market busstop to SWP leaves everyhour from 0800 - 1500hrs. No bus at 1200.
2.SWP to BT market leaves everyhour also from 1100 to 1800hrs.
3. SWP is only closed on Tuesday.

One tip: Go in the morning as most of the crowd leaves after 2pm.

Saturday nite live reporting from Heat Disco, Phan Ngu Lau.

Seen for myself what my FL frens have mentioned. Heat Disco has banned all the FL gals that they are aware of. So what do the FL gals do? They hang around outside the disco. So guys, now it's ever more easy to spot them now. HE HE HE!!!

Inside the disco is so packed, there's hardly any standing room. Filled to the brim with both male and female clubbers. Many of whom are Club 777 regulars that have switched to Heat Disco because Club 777 is still closed.

But one thing I dun like about Heat Disco is how the bouncers usher you to move on. I knw that they are trying to smooth out the human traffic inside the packed disco but putting their hands on me, and sometimes 'pushing' me on, I dun like at all!!! Wish I could communicate this into Vietnamese to them. If they really still want to do that, they ought to hire goodlooking female bouncers instead!!!

If it is not called Club 1 now, either it was in the past or that's just what it's known as in English. It's address is 1 Le Thanh Ton -- that one?

Apocalypse: the police came that night (Thursday?) and stopped them playing music loud, which meant no dancing. Lights got turned up too. But yes, it's pretty bizarre when nobody can dance in a disco. Anyway, there was dancing again on Friday, tho they're still closing at midnight until further notice (another week or so probly).

Sounds like Liquid may be worth a look. There were a few cuties I'd seen in AN in past weeks who are nowhere to be found anymore there. Maybe that's where they're hiding.

It is located at Saigon's little Japan, so called because there are so many Japanese restaurant along this street, the Le Thanh Ton!

The Club is called "Cau Lac Bo So" along the street towards Tan Van Lung Street! But still amazing there's pole dancing cause Saigon is still technically communist!

Sorry never knew that pole dancing refers to only the topless ones. Guess this place's "pole dancing" is the tame version then. Then again, this place's Main Selling Point are the cute hostesses who will try to befriend you and maybe get a drink or more off from you. And the whole place is pretty much aimed at the Japanese businessman.

Busy wif having my boss around in Saigon. Now that he has returned to Spore, I can cheong again.

Well, an important update:
The FL friends told me yesterday that the Heat Disco (Phan Ngu Lau) management has disallowed FLs into the disco. And so, my FL friends has moved to Liquid at Hai Ba Throng. Worth mentioning is the number of cute waitresses in tight spaceage uniforms. And with Club 777 still close, Apocalypse Now disallowing dancing (yes, dancing disallowed in a disco!!!) naturally even the normal clubbing gals have moved to Liquid. So the place has suddenly picked up its pulse!

Memorable too is the motorcycle trip made to Liquid Disco as I was ferried there on a motorcycle sandwiched between 2 gals. Now got me thinking of trying a 3 some. HE He He !!! Upon reaching there, one of the FL was quickly snapped up by a horny Vietnamese there. She is about a 7 on looks.

After so many mentions of my FL friends, now let me share where they usually hang out if they are without customers. From Apolcalypse Now, walk along Thi Sach Road heading towards the Cong Truong Me Linh Roadabout. At the corner of Thi Sach and Hai Ba Thung is a makeshift coffee stall with just the miniature chair and tables belonging to a middle aged lady. Yes, all of them will usually be there, especially after 12midnite, after all the discos have closed. Going rate among them are 50USD to 100USD overnite dependant upon their looks. There is one with killer looks (about an 8), slim but with huge mammaries but beware, she is a junkie, with many needle marks on her arm. She charges around USD70 and has a lover who works as a motorcycle taxi.

So guys, be careful when you are with FLs.

Yes I've been fairly active recently but have been so caught up with work and play that no time to report here. It's mostly been the same kinds of things we all know about, so nothing very exciting to report.

Moonshine is closed already, and a lot of these bars are still open but empty night after night, so it does not surprise me. A girl from Moonshine I ran into said that the police had closed it due to some kind of fight taking place there, and that she didn't think it'd reopen. Then again, someone else had told me the same thing about Long Phi bar a few weeks back and that's up and running again.

I made a mission recently of checking out every single one of the hostess bars in the HBT/Thai Van Lung/Thi Sach area, different one every night. Winner hands down for sheer selection and overall beauty has to be..... heh, I think I'll allow you to guess. ;-) The clue is that it's on HBT.

777 is currently closed, probably will reopen soonish... Heat on Pham Ngu Lao seems to be the current hotspot (haven't been to Liquid lately, but heard it was not hopping)...Saigon Super Bowl was a ghost town at 11:30pm Saturday night. Apocalypse is getting hassled by police big time this past week -- last night they even stopped them from allowing dancing. Next week, I guess it will be no drinking. And then..... no one will be allowed to speak inside the club.

Wait so WHY is it nobody is allowed to dance inside the disco? Is it the usual reason, to stop drugs? Here's a crazy idea: what about catching the people doing drugs without stopping the people who just want to drink and dance? It invovles something that perhaps one day may be introduced into this country: police work.

Ah yes the pole dancing.... nearly forgot. No that was a pretty misleading bit of info by Hentaitic actually. They dance fully dressed. This hidden secret place he's talking about is the very well known Club One. So "at Thi Sach" also turned out to be pretty inaccurate. It's discoveries like these that make me feel not so bad about his withholding the info on the fishbowl place from us. I suspect he's talking about Lisa Hotel though.

Gundam: I'll be in touch with someone soon (friend of a friend) who knows all these expat matters, including I think lower priced apartments -- get my email off Meaty and I'll let you know the score as soon as I know it myself.

I'm told rents for us foreigners can be as low as 2 million dong a month..... that's about $125 US.

Only one problem, the housing agencies tend to show you expensive places and take large commissions for doing so. I have a British colleague based in Saigon, if you would like him to contact you locally and offer any advice please leave your contact details on this site, or e-mail me at meatywsg@hotmail.com and i will forward them onto him. According to vnexpress.net in vietnamese edition, many bars (Xinh Xin, Paradise, Dep, and Nhat Nguyet) in Hochiminh City on Thai Van Lung, Le Thanh Ton, Thi Sach, and Hai Ba Trung streets in District 1 have been closed or will be closing due to decline in number of customers because of SARS. So if you guy(s) are planning to travel to Hochiminh City in Vietnam and look for some of the bar(s) mentioned here by forum member(s). They could be closed. Good luck and have fun guy(s). Searching for a house to rent in WSG is a wrong place :-) Try to use search engines (google, yahoo, ect...) for housing for rent in hochiminh city. Good luck.
