There are also issues with pork too. I would recommend eating chicken while you are there. Although not a meat product, I would recommend eating dragon fruits because they are so cheap in vn. I have not heard any issues related to this fruit. Have a safe travel.

Usually if the name actually says Karaoke then it's a legit Karaoke place. For example Dmax says restaurant, which is in line with two other KTV take out places I've been to where they are labeled as "nha hang".

Can anyone possibly provide a list of at least 2-3 places with consistently hot girls? I'll definitely give Dmax a try at some point.

Dmax recently raided and closed looks like KTV are now the target of cong an so ID doubt much sexy time will occur on premises, take out more the way to go but you looking at 1 m / shot for a avg looking gal 2-3 for overnight and for pretty ones 2-3 m ST etc, beers are about 40 k so definitely if you can control the girls whilst keeping things fun you total bill should be 2-3 mill (that's has been always been my experience in the 10 x + I have been) and def 2-3 m each even if you are big drinkers.

I just bought a business class air ticket to Ho Chi Minh from the US for $2,623 wit Air China for June! These are flat bed seats to Beijing and then business reclined to Vietnam. I have never heard of these prices before in my life. Last time I went to Hong Kong for work the tickets were close to $10 k. I can hardly wait for my trip. I have RTFF and there is so much great info.

Heading to HCMC in a few days and was wondering where valuables are put when you get undressed for massages and if you have peace of mind all your possessions will be there when done.

All the massage places I usually frequent (dai nam and vien dong) will hand you a plastic baggie to store valuables. You carry that around with you and just leave clothes in lockers. Only time someone would have access to it is if it's your massage girl while you are face down. Highly unlikely as she knows you could pop your head up at any time.
