Never been to Vietnam but watch lots of youtube videos of the massage girls standing on the streets in the traditional Vietnamese gowns trying to pull guys in for a massage.

Can I get full service from these street massage girls or are these tourist rip off joints?

If full service is offered, what's the practice of negotiating?

Discuss first before paying, ask if FS is on the menu, etc, etc?

Saw on website in Photo gallery section of forum some girls / agency advertise for 300/400 k. Surely this is wrong? Ok plus 70 k hotel room but really that cheap? Think it was for 35 minutes so quick blow & go but seems way to cheap?

It seems like Vietnam crushes Thailand in terms of prices, particularly if you go with the Vietnamese language online escort sites. But what about service level and attitudes of girls? In China over the past 5 years I've experienced some truly awful service; the girls have poor attitudes and legitimately hate you for being a non-Asian and choosing them about 80% of the time. "hurry up finish faster" after 5 minutes, "I don't do oral", or "Only put like half of it in okay?" are all the norm. 10% you're lucky to get somebody who is apathetic / indifferent and at least professional, and maybe 10% you get one who is either a good performer or actually likes you, with the two being easy to differentiate by how they behave after the act.
Thailand it was extremely impressive. Had a few duds who were a little indifferent, but never actively bitchy or complaining. Most were able to replicate the feeling of having sex with a girlfriend you'd only started dating 3-4 weeks ago. For at least 2, they were clearly not even pretending either and was very pleased. Unsolicited french kissing, insisting on NOT using a condom (cuddling afterword, chatting and asking deeper questions about you beyond the surface level stuff, sharing some of their own personal details and all that stuff. I actually value all of that.
I've yet to visit Vietnam and only had 2 Viet girls, one in China and one in Thailand. Both were great service wise. What's the standard experience? Are they generally nice / polite / service oriented toward young western men? Or more like Chinese and frequently complaining / bitching / angry about making money if they have to take a western the? Does the answer change if dealing with girls from the web vs girls in the major tourist streets?

The government has not yet allowed flights to Vietnam. There was only one flight from Korea for testing. You will still have to stay on quarantine for 1-2 weeks even if they allow it.

You won't be allowed into Vietnam anytime soon much less in the next week. I suggest you google "Vietnam News" to read about possible relaxing of future international travel, but only from Asian countries within the Asian bubble.

I am wanting to go back to Vietnam as well, but with the latest recent outbreak, lockdown and now partial reopening, I am not hopeful before at least the second quarter 2021.

Yes, generally you can, although it's going to vary. As for safety, I've visited HCMC 10+ times now and never had any problems, other than occasionally being overcharged for things. Just avoid doing anything you wouldn't normally do and don't ever accept opened drinks from people.

I have been to Vietnam several times in the last 10 years. I find the very pretty Vietnamese working girls more satisfying outside Vietnam: Hong Kong, Laos, Macau, Kuala Lumpur & Singapore.

Bear in mind the prostitution is illegal in Vietnam. So like USA, there are scammers, bait-switch operations, extortionists, even corrupt cops, all in the game. I am not discouraging you. Read the posts on ISG going back 3-4 years to get a feel of the mongering scene. Use common sense, think with your brain, not your dick. Anything that-s too good to be true is too good to be true. On my first visit to HCMC, I was picked up by a stunningly beautiful and sexy mid-20 yo girl on a motorbike who quoted a very cheap price. I hopped on her bike, she took me through a deserted road (it was around 10 PM) where we were stopped by thugs. The girl took off as soon as I got off her bike. The thugs body-searched me and took my cash. They were nice to leave me 20 k dong so I could get a Xe-om (motorbike taxi). Luckily I had nothing with me except just enough cash for a session (having developed the habit of only taking enough cash to use for the evening).

Having said that, the massage parlors and Barber Shops on the other hand are totally safe. Other that quoting a higher price for foreigners which you can negotiate, they will provide the expected services, many with enthusiasm if you are a foreigner because they rarely have foreign clients. However, the girls are not very stunningly beautiful.

I have no experience with KTVs because that's not my thing. Good luck and let us know how you did.

I've watched some videos on Youtube about Saigon KTV girls. (I assume that KTV means karaoke bar).
