Just wondering if any of you might take a moment to spare some words of wisdom / advice to such a neophyte to the city scene. Things to look for, things to look out for, prices, safety issues, meeting and bedding non-pros, really anything that you care to share with someone who does have some mongering experience, just not in SE Asia (yet). I know, I know, read through previous posts. . . And I am and will continue to do so. Just wanted to solicit some friendly advice from all of those who are so much wiser and more worldly than I.

Oh, one other question, I haven't seem to run into much about any sort of swinging scene there. Particularly interested in an mfm-threesome with a Vietnamese or mixed race couple. Is this even worth seeking out?

Sorry I have no info on swinging. However in regards to bedding a non-pro. You're here for a relatviely short period of time. Unless you have been in contact with one online through some sort of chat, meeting someone here and putting into a bed would be a little difficult with just two weeks. You're visiting HCMC, for relatively short time, assuming you're not talking Viet so best advice don't expect anything else than P4P at the usual places on a very professional base.

Unless you're resembling some Brad Pitt or Beckham type in which case you could be lucky at posh places (still difficult with the short time, very untypical for one night stands) bedding non-pros, but that will be costly as well as they expect to be comforted. Going for the street babes, well you are there with all the risks that are well documented here. There is some swinging from Couples for MFM going on but those 2 that I know are just out the others in Hanoi, try AFF or fbofsex. Happy hunting

1st regular chic, H. 27. Fucked. She's double-timing with some Canuck that teaches at RMIT. I dunno JD, sad scene to me is $20 hookers in a $10 motel, quantity over quality, not one score to mention in years in Saigon.

I think vietnamese girls are hot, but never found the mongering scene to be great unless you have good connections who can provide quality women. It doesn't seem like a very user friendly place at all. I guess if you invest your time to make the connections and work the scene then it could be good, but that takes work and effort. If you're into the 18-21yo hot chick market, how much will it cost in time, energy, money? Is it not easier to just jump into thai, indo, phil and right away you got this market available to you at a reasonable price?

I'd like to explore more in vietnam, but I'm always turned off when reading on this board or talking to others who have already been there and report back that it's just so so.

Very true observations. I reckon that guys who just turn up for a few days for the first time have a tough task. Except for HBT type bars its all more subtle than BKK. But once you have made several return trips, spent some time there, you find girls giving you their number and email quietly, and you find that many of those are very happy if you suggest traveling away from their home vicinity. Book a ticket and take them to another holiday destination within VN, and everything changes! Book a double room in the hotels away from their home town, and no questions are asked. What happens when you take the "special" girl away on a holiday and she turns into a starfish or a *****, Your stuck with her till you get back or you cut her loose, then your back to where you started, minus the time and money wasted. I think I have told the story before of one time my mate had to sign an affidavit sort of form at the hotel checkin, effectively signing that they are married or something close! I still laugh when I think of his face as he signed this piece of paper. (this happened back in the mid 90's.)
