I haven't seen this area mentioned before, and D7 seems rarely mentioned at all, but I live in D7 and there's this 'mostly' Korean area with tons of full service 'massage' shops. This report I find very interesting. I just got back to HCM yesterday and walked around this area again. I misspoke the first time about the main street I was referring to that had these drinks bars on it. Here's a bit more details.

There's probably a total of 6-8 (ish. Maybe more) of bars with slutty dressed girls outside in this entire neighborhood. There's one street called Khu Pho Hung Gia 4 with two of them on that street (on the side with the Cirkle K on thr corner), and that party street I mentioned in my first post is one street north of this one, and on the opposite side of the Circle K. There's only one of those bars on that one, and two larger Vietnamese local style 'Tiger set' beer bars where there's lots of sexy waitresses standing out in the streets until they get customers. This is a much delayed report from Ho Chi Minh City for a week I spent in end-June; I stayed at Novotel which was very convenient for work, tourism and mongering.
