I really enjoyed my time in HCMC. Stayed at the Mini Hotel 6 and although initially when I booked they told me girls are not a problem that didn't turn out to be the case. One of the clerks let me in but another said no. She was afraid for her job. I guess the cops do sweeps and if a Viet girl is caught in a room with a foreigner it's problematic. It's not clear to me if you get in hcmc 12. 30 during day or night, I suppose night as you seem to be worried about what will be still open. You can take a taxi, just before the exit of the airport, on the left side, there are some bank and taxi desks, take Vinasun, cost is 7 or 8 USD, no ripp off, you can also change money almost the same rate as downtown, but I never came so late so I don't know if the desk are still open at night. For the bar, the most close at 1 am or 2 am, but around PNL area some are still open. For sure is open Go2, till 5 am at least, groundfloor to drink. 1. Floor to dance, plenty of girls there. Just around Go2 there are also plenty of bars open till late, just don't take taxi standing there, stop a taxi driving, Vinasum. 27 27 and Mailinh. 38 38 are reliable.
