There are many Viet guys marrying white girls here in the states. However, they have to be decent, hard working and not some lazy assholes who hope one day they can attract these girls by their so so looks. The same case applies to yours so it should not come as a surprise. There are some Viet girls who find Caucasian attractive and vice versa. But I stand firm that in order to date a normal girl your chance of being successful is much higher if you are a decent guy, educated, rich (relatively to Viet guys), you-name-it. Sounds like you have a little insecurity problem. I have been traveling/working in Vietnam over 10 years and I would have to disagree. Most any decent, working white guy could find a beautiful wife in Vietnam who is a "good girl". I have probably heard from hundreds of Viet women about how Viet guys are lazy, drink too much, smoke too much and treat their women like shit. There is a subtle revolution going on in Vietnam, the vast majority of university students and new business owners are women and because of the very small pool of decent Viet guys to choose from, they are staying single or waiting to meet a white guy or Viet Kieu. Although my wife would not even date a Viet Kieu before she married me. Many beautiful and successful women in the cities don't need a white guy because they want to leave Vietnam, they are enjoying their lives and choose white guys for other reasons besides money. Kind of the same problem successful black women in America are having.

It is a myth that many Caucasian males think they can get in the female Asian pants easier than their Asian male counterparts. Just like in any countries you can pay to get what you want. Or if you want freebees you have to work for it because there are no easy meals for you. You can get a wife or girl friend rather easier in Asia because you are richer than many of the males there. Your "bach qui" (white devil) looks are compensated by the money you bring to them. Your lack of language (no, you can't be humourous unless you can speak or she can speak yours) are compensated by the promise of bringing them back to your country. If you are thinking with an average Caucasian look (or a little bit better than average) and naturally better built than the Asian males, or having a bigger dick, you can attract females like stinky shit attracts flies then you will be disappointed.

My recommendations for any cheap Caucasian out there looking for an easy fuck. If you are a loser when it comes to girls in your country then you very likely may be also a loser in Asia. The last statement doesn't apply to Caucasian guys who indeed desire Asian than Caucasian girls. So if this is your choice then weighing all the pro's (free ticket to leave the country, more gentle (?), somewhat richer than the poorest Asian males, etc) and con's (language barrier, customs) you have about 50 % chance higher than the Asian male and 50% less chance than the Vietkieu. I work with a lot of Vietnamese. They all agree that you can get quite a few sex workers with no problem. They also all agree that there are many girls out for money and an American passport. Even Vietnamese who go back to Saigon to get a wife usually end in divorce after a short time. Their advice is to look for a girl from the provinces and to take your time. I can tell you that advice is defnitely true for Bangkok as well. Must be the city versus the suburbs mentality.

I do not share the optimism expressed by other members about getting freebees in vietnam if people stay short time. I also had some freebees but I found out that most of them had a longer (or shorter) term goal. OK, anything may happen, but I doubt many young viet girl would sleep with a man knowing that he would go back home after a few days and leave them with no prospect for a longer term relationship, or any undirect reward (such as paying hospital expenses for a close family member).

This is purely imaginary. It is true that many girls are dying to get out of the country so they are willing to marry anyone who can offer them the ticket. Many girls pick Caucasian only because they don't have a choice. They prefer Vietkieu (Viet expat) to Caucasian. This is not to put Caucasian down but the Viet normally look down on girls going with foreigners. And also language barrier makes them like Vietkieu more.
