In the 1st place he is lumping together a lot of very different countries with different cultures and histories. Peru. Mexico is fucked up for similar historical reasons. The 3 Andean countries I just mentioned are very beautiful countries, however, and great for hiking or motoring around in the mountains, but I wouldn't recommend them as premiere mongering destinations. Argentina and Chile are in South America as well, but these 2 countries have a very different culture and history, and, surprise surprise, they have a ton of good-looking girls.

Almost all hotels in this area have large rooms with balconies. A25 has large rooms with saunas and balconies. I like their large screen streaming TVs.
