Yi-Shiuan Tsai, 37, also is charged with knowingly participating in the provision of prostitution by another woman at Lutwyche on March 30. Tsai (inset), of Kedron, also faced a charge of possession of mobile phones and $1150 in cash, which were suspected to be tainted property.

She is alleged to have operated a massage parlour, a nonessential business activity, while under a COVID-19 public health closure direction without reasonable excuse.

The offence is alleged to have occurred at Lutwyche on March 30.

Tsais case was adjourned until July 29 in Brisbane Magistrates Court and she was remanded on bail.

Another woman, 26, also was charged with failing to comply with a COVID-19 public health direction by offering to provide massage services at Lutwyche on March 30.

She is also charged with a prostitution offence at the same Lutwyche address.

Her lawyer said she could not appear in court because she was not well. The magistrate remanded her but said she would have to appear in court on August 19.
