    Escalator vantage point

Firstly the books are meant to be seen by them to show you have an interest in all things Asian / Jap. Have seen them used in the following way. Guy reading so called travel / language book at cafe. He glances and see target. He feints the look of confusion. He glances a few more times and gauges reaction. If approach seems possible he politely approaches and uses his confusion to ask a question eg "Excuse me I'm thinking about going to. I was wondering could you help me pronounce this word. " Proceed from there after gauging response.

Re escalator vantage point. Obviously creepy would be direct upward view. The idea is to be seen not suspected. Be prepared to do the hard yards before success. Remember Asian girls like well dressed, nice smelling and definitely not creepy. It may well worth your while to do some reconnaissance first re times, shops, best vantage position etc. Study up on body language. And remember fortune favours the brave not the creepy.

    Good luck -.

Apparently vantage points near escalators are ideal for being seen. What do you do when you are on an escalator? Nothing just usually look at the people around while you are waiting to get off. And remember if she goes shopping follow her and buy bananas and put them in your cart facing up. Apparently this is the universal sign for you know what. LOL.

Good start. Yes, Get a travel guide, study up on basic geography and famous places. Get a menu from a J restaurant and study up on different foods. Learn a few words and phrases in the language. The more you know about these things, the more impressed she will be with you.

J girls like to be led. Dominate the conversation with questions she can easily answer. Decide what YOU want to do, then do it. Don't ask her what / where / when for things to do; tell her what WE can do. If she has a problem with your suggestion, offer an alternative. But if she comes up with an unsolicited suggestion, accept it.

If you do get a date, be prepared to consummate it. If you don't get her into bed on the first date, you mightn't get a second chance. Any short time hotels in Brisbane? There is a phone app called DayUse which lists hotels offering short stays (4-6+ hours) in the middle of the day. Plenty here in Sydney.

(I've had 20+years experience working with hundreds of J girls, and I had this down to a fine art. The things I suggested have been a successful modus operandi for me, both here and in Japan).

A nod is as good as a wink. Nudge nudge say no more

On the way back I called into Rose Castle which was quite busy. Didn't like any of the line up so I kept going.

Sunnybank Hills is pretty quiet and mainly Chinese, increase your chances. Go Garden City or Sunnybank Plaza. Happy hunting.

Well done man. Next time go to the Jap grocery store at wolloongabba. Try giving the elegant lady a hand with her bag of sushi rice and put it into the trunk of her Toyota. Fifteen minutes later you'll be eating her hairy muff for lunch.

Chatswood is a difficult area to infiltrate because there is a large Chinese population as well.

Northbridge has a large Japanese supermarket, right in the middle of the J-belt. Much easier pickings these.

    Well, no.

But if you are respectable looking and behaving, and can demonstrate some knowledge of Japanese culture, lifestyle, language, geography, etc, you are in with a good chance. Mr Yashimoto probably couldn't care less who is plugging his wife because he is too occupied with the young girls from the local hostess club.

There's not much point hanging out in Sunnybank or other low rent suburbs with cheap Chinese or Vietnamese populations, unless you want to buy a coffee for a lonely massage Aunty. Japs tend to be more upmarket.

I'd say took about 2 years to find and keep a beautiful Asian lady. And she lets me travel.Go and sit at a Sunnybank or Garden City Coffee shop. Sooner or later you will get "that" look or run into one of your massage providers. LOL.
