Had a couple of lousy experiences last Thursday.

Went to see my semi-regular down at Daily Paradise in Seaford last week, only to discover that the place had changed hands about a month ago, had all new staff and was now known as "The Red Door". Was met by the new manager who was enthusing about the refurbishment and other improvements he was doing to the place. Thanks Mel Monger for your unrelated note. I did not know about the Locanto web site. It was interesting to note that there seem to be quite a few "amateurs" advertising there without quoting PCA numbers as I understand the law requires.

It is one of the problems here in Victoria that unlike the rest of Australia, a girl / woman that wants to do a bit of private sex work on the side has to register with the Prostitution Control Authority and get a PCA number to quote in her adverts otherwise the newspapers and sites like Cracker can not / will not accept them.

Some of these adverts may fall into the personal contacts category but others (like the one you quote) are clearly adverts for paid sex work.

On Cracker you will note that other states have several times the number of adverts as does Melbourne and their prices are generally half or less. The Victorian PCA system would certainly seem to be a disincentive to a lot of girls / women advertising and thus serves to restrict the operation of the free market which no doubt pleases the owners of licenced brothels.

Do any members know of other sites that advertise in this way?
