If you guys think prices are crazy high in Melbourne I recently spent a few days in Darwin. 100 for a handy and 200 for boom boom. The vast majority of AMP are simply not sustainable as businesses. Their reluctance to adapt to economic change is beyond belief. I cannot think of any service industry that offers such poor VFM. These shops need to realise, consumers are watching their hip pockets like never before and retail is down significantly everywhere. Eastlands is conservatively reporting a thirty eight percent downturn in trade. Whose got 150 $ to throw at these stupid girls with absolutely no guarantee of a good outcome. Pre-covid I would have at least one or two sessions per week but those days are gone. It was an out-of-control habit thankfully broken during lockdown. However, when the urge arises I go to certain shops that will do 70 ph with fixed price extras are repeat visits. Otherwise, it is a complete waste of money and a sure way to throw your money down the drain.

I see conversation on deregulation and think what does this mean? Nothing at all except an Act of parliament attempt to decriminalise AMP. VP have better things to do and have not got the resources. It is business as usual. I drove along north Rd today towards oakleigh.

The number of rnt has exploded and one wonders how any are making profits.
