Not going to be a popular post here.

I understand that many of you are frustrated with the rising prices of services across Melbourne. However, it's important to understand that this is a natural consequence of inflation.

Costs of living is increasing so prices across the board for food, rent, bills are all going up so naturally girls and providers are going to increase prices accordingly. It's only really fair and we would all do the same in their position.

I understand that this is a frustrating consequence and many of us spend a chunk of our disposable income on having a punt but not much will come from walking I think as girls are only charging what they think they need now to get by.

Just my two cents. I know many of us here will probably disagree.

You make some very valid points that I aren't going to debate!

I'll just add the flip side view that punters are also feeling the inflation squeeze. And all the rising costs that that brings to everyday life costs and essentials.

One of the first things to go or be scaled back is discretionary spending. And I'm willing to bet with the tightening of punter belts, coupled with the increased prices and poor services of the shitty Chinese rnt places, business will surely be down down!!

What you have to remember here is that these women don't pay tax, as the business they run is illegal. A good centre can easily make $1000/ day.

I've noticed nearly all centres want a 50 just for a handjob and they won't negotiate. It's getting beyond a joke.

It's got nothing to do with inflation but more with greed.

You are correct the prices are rising and probably for the reasons you say. However as most of us know we are all affected by rises in supermarkets petrol rents etc and wages are comparatively low compared to the inflation rate.

So I refuse to pay more than I would normally pay and am still getting good service wherever I go.

It always comes back to the old saying 'a fool and his money are soon departed. '.

Ridiculous the pricing around these days.

I'm not a full service guy so normally I'll be able to get 30 min massage with a Nude HJ and most time with a body slide for $80.

Most shops I've walked into lately will either only do Full Service and or still want $100 for the above.

I walk out as I'the rather them know they are being ridiculous but I've got a feeling all shops are now doing the same thing.

I'm not going to pay full service rates when I'm not getting or wanting full service.

I normally go to Sunshine or Preston areas.

If anyone knows of shops still with VFM let me know?

Velvet Hands has been around for a whole now. Have never been there though. In the CBD, there used to be one on Exhibition called SLK, walking away from Collins.

Hanabi and Hana are safe bets too.

Just know that the rates in CBD are fairly high. 50-100-150. Try and negotiate though.

On Bourke St, there is a foodcourt called Paramount, where 4 massage shops are very close to each other.

I have tried 2 of them:

Try the place opposite vic market in Peel st. Only been there once but it was satifactory. There is onother MP up the escalator in the paramount building, left hand side down the back but it's just a pretty standard sort of place.
