I do believe that most comments made here are correct that not only do they use these sites as verification they also use them as research. But I suspect research for more nefarious activities.

If we as punters and in fact our own wives at times can drive past a "dodgy" massage joint and not recognise it for what it is then I am sure any enforcement officer be it council or law can also.

Having said that there are a number of sites that will give out specific details without qualms. My rule of thumb for what its worth is that if they advertise candidly then they are inviting clear and detailed reviews.

If on the other hand their advertising is discreet then it is incumbent on me to do the same.

Interesting to note that some members here pass judgment and comment on posts and establishments that have only a handful of posts, presumably meaning they haven't been on her long?

In line with my previous post don't cast aspersions and make matter of fact statements can I suggest, this site has been pretty good of late but at times in the past has been ruined by this sort of thing, to the point I never even bothers at one point.

If people praise a joint that's there impression, each to their own, conceding also that some punters appear to get to closely involved with ML, not unique I know!

We will disagree on a number of fronts there none the least I think in the main out police are pretty incompetent, but that's not for discussion in this forum and before people jump to conclusions never have I had a run in with them a totally clean history, accept for numerous motor related fines, I seem to have an aversion for them in a similar way to RnTs.

Sure they have levels of intelligence and ways of gathering information including working in conjunction withe the likes of local councils and residents but I will never be convinced they wouldn't be active on sites like this to gather a bit more info where at all possible, as requires little work.

I fully agree despite their might look like a good reason Jackson would advocate this.

I did from day one, I have sent many great tips to people privately, simply because of some of the loose cannons on here that post what I feel is inappropriate and some times to much info about girls and shops, I personally feel despite denial from many member in here some of what had been posted on here has lead to investigation and shops being closed. Don't pay $50 only $30 for the next handy and bingo theirs your subscription paid for.

I still see constant comments on members posts that they are biased or in love with the ML, some criticize shops that I have been to repeatedly in some instances for years, probably on the back of one visit and average experience.

My criteria is simple, I need to enjoy and not be ripped off, then I will return.

Remember this is a forum, its not about judging people or theirs posts, I look upon it as somewhere I can view as a guide to where I might try and as always if I have a good time am not asked for $50 for a clothed handy or stuffed around I will return.

Very succinct Pedro. I wholeheartedly agree with you especially when you refer to others judging.

Why do we post?

I suspect its more about sharing or bragging at times because hey it's difficult to go home to the missus and say "guess what I did today".

When punters share we should just take it for what it is, a report for reports sake.

I also agree that PM's are the way to go and that reminds me I had better check my subscription.

Was heading through Footscray on Geelong Rd the other day and though I caught a very different looking 120 Geelong Rd shop front, looks like the good old trusty Young Asian Massage has closed? Anyone know if it's just a straight closure or anything more sinister and alarming?

It appears your concern is not the LE factor, but the fact that the ML can easily get in here (via Google), & feels violated by having private stuff published on the internet. That makes perfect sense to me.

I can particularly understand how a private, using her proper name, & operating from her home, would be incensed.

The tricky bit is getting the balance right.

IMO, being too subtle with the cryptic, may lead punters astray, or frustrate them, if they misread the clues.

"Advertises in the usual Location", I believe is a reasonable compromise, so long as we specify how the punter can pinpoint the ad.

I have taken a liking to this shop in Mount Pleasant Rd, I have been 7- 8 times now never had a bad experience, a couple that I would class as not as good as some others, but never have I left not satisfied or feeling fleeced, usually $80 lighter and contented never more than 100.

Saw some comments on here about the guy working there, but never misses a beat when I make a booking, rooms are clean and the farewell can of coke on offer on the way out is a bonus as one day I was there was pretty hot.

Have heard him dealing with some punters on the phone when waiting to go in, they seriously must drive him mad, he doesn't take any crap but sure runs a good little business compared to the rubbish you have to put up with some others, like double booking, advertising when they not really working and so on. Offered me a 4 hands for $90 the half hour was tempted but maybe another day.

Looking to try one I had recommended to me around Chadstone will give it a go and report in.
