Formule1 is very basic (double bed with single above), shower recess, TV. But it is new, and generally very clean. No room service, no bell boy, even self serve check in except at peak hours. Continental breakfast is also self serve. It is within walking distance of Kings Cross, and only a few minutes by cab or bus into the CBD (you could walk in about 15 mins).

What is your budget? You wont get a good room in Sydney for under $120, there are a few around $100, but are marginal, but probably ok for one night.

Mate this is Australia and not Asia, all hotels are GF friendly provided of course they don't attract too much attention and you are descrete. As for taking a hooker back for the night if you can afford to do that you can afford a decent hotel, but I wouldn't be taking any Kings Cross streetwalker back for the night.
