Re below post, a interesting point, sometimes a popular girl may feel overworked and uncomfortable about taking some men, thus they work less nights. Emilys was never busted as far as I know, I've visited there quite a few times over the years and has always been a good experience for me. For me personally I'd probably rate it one of my top.

Brothel wise, I only do asians but strip clubs I visit any, so my information may be of limited use to you but here are a few places I've visited this year:

Mermaid (Strip club) - K Road.

Terrible, don't waste your time. Mermaid is a chain and the one in Wellington is really high class and nice. Aucklands one is tiny, girls are not attractive, dimly lit so it is hard to see.

Calendar girls (Strip club) - K road.

There are 3 levels to the building. The bottom one is more like a sports bar with strippers on poles, never nude.

Second floor is through the side of the building, this is your standard strip club. Pretty small place, girls are quite hot here. One girl is normally walking around chatting people up trying to sell lap dances and one girl is normally on stage. Pretty much all the ladies will try get lapdances out of you but don't seem to care about tips as much. The lap dance is $90 per 15 minutes. Which is very expensive, but unlike other countries you are able to touch them pretty much anywhere other than their nether region. To me it seems like they are selling more the opportunity to touch them more than the dance. Their dance is minimal, not really much grinding of physical contact done on their part.

Show girls (Strip club) - 55 Customs St E.

Biggest place, several 'stages' but I've only ever seen the main one used and its only one model dancing at a time. Models are decent looking but nothing to write home about. One thing that really annoys me here is that each and every model after a dance will go to most people asking for tips and some of them give you attitude if you don't. Lapdances are available but not sure on the cost, they don't nag you to get them either so I didn't bother.

From Newzealand girls I've pretty much been to all the Asian ones in the North shore region. All of them are done people at least in their late 30's don't be fooled by the pictures. Their massaging abilities are subpar and are not easy on the eyes. There was one in Albany that actually gave really good service and I'm pretty sure the girls were in their 20's but unfortunately it closed.
