Fuck you guy`s crack me up, reading your stories about my hometown.

Things have changed since legalisation of the prostitution law in New Zealand.

Must recommend the live entertainment at the Atami Bath House in Christchurch. I was there late May and it's a brothel per say, but Thursday nights (2100 hrs) and Friday lunch times they have a very lively show.

The cover charge is NZ$25 (US$16) and it's BYO alcohol. You pay at the door and desend into the bowels of the buiding and into the show room.

Now this was my second time there in 3 years, and this time the qualtiy of performers was a little lower 4 -6 's so YMMV but the quality of the show is undiminished. I understand that in the intervening period that the Police may have restricted the activities for short periods. I did phone to check if it was on prior to going.

Full on girl girl action, punters from the crowd on stage BBBJTC, candles in all places, pearl necklaces appearing from oysters, buy a ticket to win a girl etc etc - you get the picture. The show went from around 2130 untill 0000 hrs, and it was packed with an interesting cross section of New Zealand society.

Then at the end of the show they run a NZ$60 FS special (US$39), with the show girls and others available. Didn't participate so can't comment, but they were lining up to book in as I left.

The girls in the show were predominately local, but there were a few asian girls available as well.

In some respects, it was soo bad it was great. Don't expect Spearmint Rhino, but do expect great entertainment at great value.
