Fun city no one talks about = La Paz.

Altitude might have alot to do with it. As far as I know La Paz has the best deals over it's sister city sucre.

Please correct me if I am wrong. I'd love to go to Bolivia but I dont know if just visiting the low lands is worth a trip.

Costa Rica is not in South America but there you will find Nicaraguans and Colombians in addition to Ticas (Costa Ricans). I have been to every Spanish-speaking country in South America and if I were going to go to one for say a week, and all I cared about was mongering, I would go to Paraguay. Quantity, quality, price, and ease of use.
