Posts: 48Where are the low prices in EE?
Where in EE can one have a reasonably priced GF6 experience? 60min. FK, OWO, various pos, COB or CIM 60-100 EUR, 100-150 CHF.
Information on boards vary greatly, cannot see a pattern of one country/city over the other? What am I missing?
Happy mongering.

Posts: 99Which place is best for a long holiday?
Having almost reached the end of my current contact at work, I've decided that before starting to look for a new job I shall take a well-earned rest; consequently I am planning to spend a month (or maybe six weeks) in Asia. With this in mind, I thought it might be an idea to ask you good people the following question. Imagine for a minute that you have 4-6 weeks to spend in Asia this summer. Where and how would you spend it?
If any of you guys have experience of taking a long break like this, and would care to offer any recommendations (or 'do's and don'ts'? ) which might help me to obtain maximum enjoyment during my 'dream' holiday, then it would be much appreciated. You can be as generic or as specific as you like with your advice. For example, you might simply recommend one entire country as being the 'best' place to go; alternatively you can say which particular city or town has 'the most beautiful girls in Asia' (if it's a secret you can PM me, I promise I won't tell anyone! ); or you can recommend an individual bar or a place to stay.
Just to give you a bit of background on my own situation and preferences: I am 50 years old and have been to Asia quite a lot already, but only ever for one or (occasionally) two weeks at a time. Usually I prefer the Philippines (Manila/Makati. I'm not crazy about Angeles though), but I have also been to Bangkok, Pattaya, Singapore and HK. I don't have any language skills in any of the Asian tongues (I. E. I speak English only), so I don't really want to go anywhere where nobody understands me. I will be budgeting around 5000 USD (excluding my flight to/from my initial destination), so that rules out any luxury hotels (except maybe for a couple of nights). I would like to have the best possible experience within this budget, in terms of spending my time with attractive and friendly girls, somewhere with a lively atmosphere (I am definitely not planning on going and staying with a girl in her village! ). I don't mind travelling to more than one destination but I am not envisaging any kind of 'grand tour'. Oh yes, the places where I stay should really have aircon, and there should of course be beer, and reasonable food.
Many thanks in anticipation, and if anybody is going to be hanging around ('up to no good') in Asia during June please let me know. Maybe we can meet up for a drink.

I was considering waiting a bit and that's okay.
Funny you mention Mexico, I would have gone this week but my check was a bit smaller. Exchange rate is 13:1 now, makes it fairly affordable. I will be going next week to TJ for a primer..lol
If I push back my trip (which I might do anyway), I would have $1000 to spend on ladies, the trip itself would still be under $800 and cheap hostels and hotels go for less than $30 a day.

With the budget you have presented here, I think it would be best to just forget even going to Brasil, Argentina, or Colombia. These countries are just too out of your budget to have a really good time. The airfare alone may end up eating half your budget! A couple of suggestions:
1. Check out some countries where the airfare is cheaper, a few that come to mind with good mongering are Ecuador, El Salvador and Nicaragua. You can easily get air tickets to all three places for under $500, sometime under even $300 from LAX to Central America. Check out the trip reports and photo galleries in these three threads and think about it.
2. I think you live in California? Why not just go to Mexico, either drive there or you can even take a bus if gas is too much. The pussy costs more there but think of all the money you will save on the arifare.
3. Just put off your trip until you have more money.
Going all the way to Brasil and then pinching pennies is not fun at all, trust me!

Posts: 1493Actually I haven't researched Columbia that deeply but I have Argentina and Brazil.
George -
Lowest fare I have been able to find on Kayak was actually under $600 for a brief moment late last month, but since my time off was unable to be finalized and we had a switch over in management come out of nowhere this past weekend, I was forced to not purchase that ticket as it wasn't refundable.
It was $707 on Mexicali to Sao Paulo and Curitiba. Yep you heard right, both locations! Well now its $1043 but I think that's because its close to Carnival, but I suspect it will go back down after Carnival.
So its possible to get to Brazil for less than $750 taxes and fees included.
In one model that would leave $500 for lodging, food and entertainment.
Using the same Hostel search engine I used while in Europe, I found a local low cost hotel which has double rooms available for $19.25US per day. All I need is a decent place to take a shower, to sleep and WiFi on site or within a short distance. The only problem is this hotel/hostel is off the beaten path somewhat but most sites and districts I would be interested in seeing are within reach by public transportation, which is close to the hotel (less than a block).
When I made my way to Curitiba for the race, I found the Accor owned Formula 1 hotel which goes for $35US a night and is girl-friendly. A local I met on another message board hooked me into the local scene which is important for Curitiba as its not frequented by many on this board just a few.
So all said about $170 for lodging. Food, well I don't know what the estimate would be but getting something cheap and filling is all I really need. While in Germany where I spent most of my time (otherwise I was with friends) eating Pizza, German Sausage, Micky D's and those Turkish Pita things (forgot what they were called) and didn't spend much more than $10-15Euro a day on food. I caught the Continental Breakfast most days, so I usually ate twice, maybe three times more in a day, wasn't that expensive.
Unlike my European trip, I can't overspend. I don't have overdraft protection on my debt card anymore, which cost me $2,500 in charges and fees when I returned back to the States. I also can't have $1,500 FedEx'ed to me like I did in Germany either... those days are over.
Given the exchange rate and there's no gringo price for food usually, I figure I can eat for much less than $25US a day.
As for GDP's in Brazil, Chicas in Columbia and Argentina -
I can do a Clinica and one short time GDP per day while in SP and for the three days in Curitiba, one GDP per day for two days, maybe two short time per evening, being their for two evenings total.
That should cost well under $300-350
In Argentina it would be roughly the same and so would Columbia.
Original plan was about 7 days, but I would extended it to 10 days if I could afford it.
I'm still crunching the numbers, at the very least my return trip home and lodging would be paid for in advance so if I have to back off getting laid to be able to eat, then that's okay.
Because I might have to push this back and miss the race, I would be willing to go later (maybe May) that way I could increase my budget to $1,000 for sex but really, do I need that much to bang at least two girls a day???

I have travelled to Brazil and Colombia a dozen times each in the past 10 years. Your budget of $1,500 US serious limits your options.
Brazil: I like the Northeast, Salvador especially. The lowest fare I have ever received from Miami to Salvador was $700 US, and that was 7 years ago. AA has a new route from Miami to Salvador with a fare of $290 each way (off peak) plus tax. That should total between $650 and $750. Note that the airfare will be at least half your budget if you go to Brazil. (Check the fares from your city.)
There are many budget hotels in every city. They are not difficult to find as the airports have tourist offices that will help you find a hotel and will call that hotel to book your reservation, sometimes at a discuont price. I regularly use hotels that charge $R60-$R80 per night, before tax. They are not luxurious, but they get the job done. At 10 nights, your cost will likely be in the $R700-$R900 range. At an exchange rate of 2.0, that is another $450 US; running total $1,200 US. That will leave $300 for food and entertainment over 10 days.
Colombia: I have been to Cartagena, Cali, and Santa Marta. I suggest Cartagena for both its history and the ladies. The airfare to Colombia will run between $300 and $500 depending on to which city and when you travel. I think my fare to Cartagena was $400 9 years ago. My fare to Cali 2 years ago was around $450. In Cartagena, I stayed in an apartment that was available for rent to tourists and other travelers or temporary residents. In the Colombia forum, I read that its has gone downhill in terms of repair and it is full of prostitutes who stay there when not working. It was considered as not very safe. I paid the equivalent of $35 a night there for 2 weeks.
In Cali, I stayed at a marriage agency so that price is not representative. In Santa Marta, I stayed at a higher star hotel with a lady friend; the rate was around $60 a night.
I hope this helps.
My suggestion for budget pussy travel is the Dominican Republic. Fares can be as low as $200 from Miami or JFK. The exchange rate is good for Americans. I hear the price for TLN is at most $80. A few hotels can be found for $40 a night. You might come back with change from a 10 day stay there.

Posts: 1493Was Wondering - Input Wanted...
Some back story -
I wanted to finally go to Brazil. I've been dying to go every since I discovered this forum a few years ago. I went to Europe first in hopes I could lay the foundation for a long term relationship.
Crash and Burn, putting together Euro Trip 2.0 currently....
In the meantime, I haven't had sex since I returned from Europe. Well its time to remedy that.
I had planned my trip to Brazil around the World Touring Car Championship Round #1 to be held in Curitiba, but I think I'll miss that, we've had turnover at work again so I might have to push that back (March 8th).
So if I miss that target, I thought I would ask for some opinion of other options -
This trip has to be done for around $1200-1500US
I am trying to keep the cost of transportation and lodging total under $900. I plan on doing this staying mostly in low cost hotels or hostels. This would leave $300-$700 for "hobbies".
With the exchange rate, I have come up with three locations:
Brazil
Argentina
Columbia
I wanted to do 10 days in either location or about $100 a day.
Any input would be welcomed....

Posts: 278Rio de Janeiro vs. Pattaya
rio de janeiro vs. pattaya
having just completed my first ever trip to pattaya, i thought it might be helpful for the monger community to get a comparison of the worlds two most famous mongering destinations.
just a few words of background. i love rio and brazilian women and have been to the marvellous city many times over the years. i speak portuguese which also makes a big difference. so my conclusion was never in doubt, but i will try to give a fair, albeit it, personal comparison.
my holidays are on relatively high budgets, so the conclusions are based on a fairly good budget.
the two cities
rio is probably one of the most beautiful cities in the world with a great combination of beaches, mountains, forests etc. traffic is bad, but the city has a good metro system and taxis are available very easily.
pattaya is not as nice as rio, but still has a beach (but nobody was swimming in the water). it is very build-up and i felt it was quite crowded. traffic is ok, and baht busses are readily available.
winner: rio
safety
i never felt unsafe in pattaya and it seems to have a good safety reputation.
rio is known to be an unsafe city with a very high murder rate. personally, i have never had problems in rio as i take my precautions.
winner: pattaya
non-mongering activities
pattaya has very good sporting activities available at very good prices. these include diving, golf, [CodeWord117] etc. this is less easy to find in rio.
rio has excellent sightseeing tours, including the statue of christ and sugarloaf mountain to name a few. pattaya seemed to have less interesting tour options.
winner: depends on your preferences.
food
both cities have very good local food available a reasonable prices. i like both thai and brazilian food so for my detail regular meals both cities have good options.
there are a number of very good restaurants in rio with high-end international cuisine. these include satyricon, antequarius, fasano etc. i did not find high end international restaurants in pattaya.
winner: depends on food preference mine is rio due to the high end restaurants.
non-pro nightlife
when in rio i sometimes like to take a night off (from the professional ladies) and go to a regular club. there are many good clubs with local clients only where you can have a great time. on some occasions you might even end up with non-pro for the night.
in pattaya there are so many foreingnes and prostitution is more widespread than in rio. this also means that most if not all clubs with have foreigners and local pros in their audience.
brazilian music in pretty good and i have even come to like to bailefunk party music whereas i have heard enough thai techno music to last me a lifetime.
winner: rio
prices
generally speaking most, if not all things, are cheaper in pattaya.
apples to apples you get more for your dollars, euros . in pattaya than in rio. this includes hotels, food, entertaining, women
lunch:
thai food: 250baht (app. u$7)
brazilian kilograma: 35 reals (u$15)
two girl party:
pattaya (hell club): 3600baht for 90 minutes (u$100)
rio (centaurus): 800 reals for 60 minutes (u$355)
both places are, imho, the cities finest.
good local hotel:
pattaya: 2500 baht (u$72)
rio: u$130
i usually set a budget for my trips. i could not spend my whole budget in pattaya as it is quite cheap. on the other hand i have never been able to stay on budget in rio.
winner: pattaya
women
brazilian women come in all shape, sizes and colours you can pretty much find all types of women in rio. thai women come in two shapes and sizes small and very small.
to be perfectly honest it is not even a close call, brazilian women are far more attractive to me than thai women.
thai women are very nice and treat you very well if they like you. the lady i had last night would not allow me to get off the couch to get a beer, she always went to get it for me.
brasilian women are not quite like that, but they are still great company.
winner: rio
sex
again, not even a close call. brazilian women are great in bed, probably the best in world. thai womens sexual skills pale in comparison.
i have had so much great sex in brazil that i have stopped counting .the best sex i had in pattaya does not even make it to my top50 sessions.
brazilian women are much more into sex and can genuinely provide a great gfe even if they have never met you before. brazilian women are also more sexually demanding you will get a long way with them if you can really make the come.
winner: rio
will i go back?
to pattaya: probably not, thai women does not really do it for me.
to rio: every year till the day i die ( which i hope will be at an old age and in bed with 5 exhausted 19 year old brasilieras).

I just can't get into Asian women, so besides wanting to see Thailand because its interesting and my co-worker is trying to get me to go to the Philippines when he goes back to visit family later this year, I'm not that exited to go.

Posts: 606Unfortunately, the pussy price and girls' arrogance does not depend on the stock market only, it also depends on the number of rich "westerners" coming to the girls. For example Czech republic used to be a heaven in 90s. The girls did not speak English, were modest and cheap.
Later when all this EU/Euro thing started, Prague is full of tourists, almost every girl speaks English, so the prices are much higher now. In a central club one hour with a girl was about $80, now it's at least 200EU. Some girls earn thousands over a weekend. Many men from countries such as UK do not mind to pay to the girls while the local's normal salary is still pretty low, about $1000/month.

Everybody talks about the financial crisis everywhere. And i tell you it will impact the pussycat market as well.
I think we will see a pussycat price deflation.
Personnally i saw the pussycat market crazy inflation at the same than the stockt market bubble after 2002. This inflation came with a kind of new arrogance behaviour from girls.
Lots of us, noticed last year, increasing price in Romania for instance, we posh arrogant behaviour.
No worries, everything will get back to reasonnable prices. You ll see at the beginning of 2009.
