I don't recall anyone here having an opinion even remotely comparable to this.

One cannot say the woman did not force her partner to murder the father for failing to open the door for her. No one heard what she said to him in the parking lot. She may have demanded that he "man up" and make the other guy respect her, or she may have lied and claimed that he sexually harassed her. What we do know is that she started the confrontation and that makes her responsible for having stirred the pot. Of course, her man was weak because he failed to let her know that strangers are not obligated to hold doors open for her. However, the fact remains that she set the chain of events in motion that led to the fatal outcome. Women do this all the time and this is hardly an isolated incident.

But that's just it. She didn't force him to do anything. Unless she threatened him with damage to life or limb (or liberty, within reason), she did not 'force' him to incite violence against the man. While she shares some of the blame, he earns +90% of the blame because he chose to pull the trigger. That is fact. Moreover, women do not do this "all the time", because if they did, there would be very few men alive today. I wouldn't even say it happens most of the time, as it's the first I'm hearing of a story like this. The closest analogue would be the wolf criers. The women who say they were raped when they really weren't. Even then, it doesn't happen all the time, and the men are still to blame, as these females have certain signs and indicators that can be spotted a mile away. It is true that men who take Western white knighting concepts to places abroad like the Philippines and Thailand are often fleeced of all their assets due to doing foolish things like buying houses and land under their girlfriend's or wife's name in an attempt to circumvent laws in those countries restricting foreign ownership of land and businesses. However, when it comes to dealing with women abroad, men are generally happier in countries that lack radical feminist ideologies and the mechanisms to enforce them. If anything, American men can be blamed for continuing to enter relationships where American women who now earn their own money are allowed to engage in financial parasitism. In the USA, even ugly middle-aged women refuse to go on dates if they know the guy intends to split the bill. American women only claim to believe in gender equality when it benefits them.

This is agreeable. Some men make mistakes, but when your dating history is nothing but crazies, it's time to look in the mirror. Personally, I'm of the Tom Leykis variety, where one sign of nonsense and you're out (or I am; take your pick). Saves a lot of stress. Believe me.

Which is exactly what I said in my first comment. It may not be how it is in society, but that's how I run things in my sphere. If you're part of my crew but you father a bunch of kids you cannot / will not support, you're not hanging around us. If you're a drug-addicted wife-beater, you're out. Thanks pal. I bought into the whole Victorian bullshyt thing because I did not have a real male mentor while coming up. It was supposed to be family, marriage and the white picket fence- not to mention the Brady Bunch style of television brainwashing the entire country in the old days. A 31-year-old man was shot and killed outside of a North Las Vegas McDonald's, reportedly after getting into an argument with a woman for not holding open the door for her, KSNV reports.

According to the report, Mohammad Robinson got into an argument with a woman who was upset that the door to the McDonald's was not being held open for her. The woman reportedly went and notified a man she was with about the incident, and that man pulled out a firearm and fatally wounded the 31-year-old father.

"It was a stupid reason honestly, irrelevant. It doesn't make any sense why would you actually take someone's life over not opening a door," Robinson's 14-year-old daughter Miniya Sampson told the news station. "It's horrible. I want my dad back and you took him away from me!

Robinson's best friend reportedly witnessed the shooting, Sampson said.

Police are looking for the suspect, the station notes, and are hoping that surveillance footage from the McDonald's will give some leads.
