I thought the discussion was about America, not Manhattan which a completely different country I could say the same about some places like Hollywood, or beauty pageants. I went to some beauty pageants, and of course there some hot American girls. But does it make everybody's life easier?

Look, I am damn near 30 and have spent the bulk of my post grad career as a consultant for a large multinational consulting firm--about 35% of my time in conflict/post-conflict zones; 35% of my time in the emerging markets of EE, the FSU, and a bit in Latin America;10% of my time on domestic assignments; and the rest on virtual or actual holiday (as I have damn near mastered the art of billing remotely).

I remember my time in Mankato, Minnesota with great nostalgia! Hot nurses, horny interns and residents, and slutty billing girls. Exactly. That's the thing. Even though I can afford a much fancier car, I drive a 13 year old Honda Civic, very clean and well kept, but still a basic plain old car.
