Absolutely -- the combination of a condom and the drug can definitely mean a struggle to blast off in the requisite time. The fact that I can last quite literally for hours is not necessarily good news in P4P scenarios. I'm someone who's always tended to use pretty well all the allotted time regardless, so adding the drugs into the equation can definitely make me run out of time. That's probably one of the reasons I'm a "LT" fan when in Thailand, and why I generally book for more than the usual hour scenario elsewhere.

One more question...do these drugs ever cause you problems in a P4P situation? I know that guys with a short fuse can have trouble with those 'one strike, you're out' girls, but do you ever experience the opposite when you use the pills? Do you ever end up running out of time and you still haven't finished?

Excellent point regarding condoms, George90, and my experience is that same. The slight loss of sensation with condoms does make a difference -- I'd forgotten to put that in my list.

What JZ says is very true. An additional reason for me is that putting on a condom and having it on makes me go soft. I need a good deal of stimulation to stay hard with a condom. Using C helps me stay hard with a condom without that stimuation.

I know that I am not the only man experiencing this because some of the pros say it is very common among their clients.

I have taken it not cause I cant get an erection, because the girls that I have been meeting want to go all night and I'm usually done after one round and with V. I can go again, again and again. I split it into three though, thats enough fuel for me!

I'll also note that I get older the ability not to get but to maintain an erection for long periods of time can be spotty and may depend on things such as my level of fatigue, diet, alcohol intake, partner, environment, etc. Doesn't happen all that much, but it happens more than when I was younger.

Viagra et al take chance out of the equation, and given that for guys a lack of the appropriate level of arousal is far more apparent than for women (and more difficult to cover up/work around) and also can be received with, shall we say, a lack of grace at times from the partner, it's simply one less thing to think about.

Hi guys - excuse me sticking my nose in, but some of the comments in here got me curious and I wanted to ask you a question. I know that some guys take Viagra etc because they can't get an erection by themselves, at all. That I totally understand. What I wanted to know is why do you other guys take it? What's your primary motivation...is it to stay hard longer, to go longer without blowing, to be able to go 2 or 3 times in a row, or what?

Not that it's any of my business, of course!

I was just wondering.

Just saw an interesting ad on CL for viagraboy dot com selling the 50 mg 100 for $100 plus 4.99 postage. Generic, of course. May be worth a shot- or several! Also, in the literature department, I was somewhat surprised to see a lot of offerings related to male sexual enhancement, etc. at amazon. As you say "we are all different." I don't think that C, V or L will help increase the actual number of pops. That is not their purpose. They just allow you to get and maintain an erection so you at least get the chance to pop. If you don't have the wood, you're not going to pop.

You're also not going to pop if you don't have the juice I don't know of any approved medical treatment to help in this regard. There are some expensive supplements that purport to help but I don't know how effective they are for the average guy. There have been previous threads on here regarding vitamins, oriental herbs and minerals. Zinc is one of the key ingrediants. I've tried this route for several months but haven't noticed much difference. I'm not looking for porn star gushers, just a little faster re-charge cycle.

Hope that this is not too much off topic, but I have recently heard of something called "stone" (it probably has other names) that is supposedly available in some shops in cities that have Chinatowns.

Supposedly you rub a little bit on the head of your member and it keeps you from coming for hours. Has anyone heard of this (or anything similar) or used it? Opinions on it?

I am located in New York City that has a large Chinatown. Does any of the NYC Board members know where to get some at?

Well, I'll conduct by sociological experiment this weekend with the V. I don't need much, so maybe a 1/4 of V will do the trick. I must say I do enjoy the C and will go back if this doesn't work. I had to try to quadruple my bangs for the buck though!

I have used Apcalis, made in India by Ajanta Pharma. I only have a slight headache problem with C. What I do is take it when I go to bed at night. I don't notice the headache and feel fine in the morning. Then I go out and do my mongering or whatever that day. The stuff works for 3 - 4 days, so I am still covered for a weekend with one dose. The worst "side effect" that I get taking it that way is that I'll sometimes wake up with a hard-on. I don't know about the drug interactions you mention. There are websites where you can enter a list of medicines and it will return known interactions and warnings. I don't have the link handy at the moment.
