Posts: 3359Most of the sildenafil tablets I buy, always 50 mg., are in fact scored. I take a third or a half of a 50 mg. tablet but a few times I've taken 50 mg. and I was rock hard but could not finish.

Posts: 270Just a thought, but do you guys actually see a doctor to get advice about using drugs for other than their normal purpose? This stuff is designed for treatment of Parkinsons disease and seems not to be entirely benign.
I can, to some degree, understand not getting a consult about Viagra, simple drug, simple purpose, simple effect but some of the more outre stuff?

Posts: 32Dostinex or Cabergoline in Thailand
I've been reading a fair amount about Dostinex (generic name of cabergoline) as a performance enhancement drug. It doesn't work like Viagra, but it increases desire.
It is available online (apparantly you don't need a prescription with this particular company) for about $130 for 8 pills. According to my reading each pill (0.5 mg) lasts about 4 days, or you may split them in half.
Be headed back to Thailand in about a month and I'm pretty familiar with the over the counter scene there, but I'd like to find out if anyone has purchased this OTC in Thailand, and what the cost is.
I'd think that the pharmicies around soi 4 would be the most likely ones to carry this drug.

Posts: 270Speaking for the small sample with which I am familiar I do not know the answer for sure, but there are two possible answers that spring to mind.
1) You are getting more benefit from the placebo effect of the drug than its real effect. In trials a very significant proportion of testers found benefit from a tablet that had no active ingredient whatsover!
2) Possibly more likely - Viagra, in all its solid forms, branded as Viagra or not, has aparticular form for its tablet. It is not scored - not designed to be broken, or cut to provide a smaller dose. Most users of Viagra buy 100mg tablets as they cost little, or nothing, more than the smaller ones and simply cut the tablet.
Now, the manufacturers, Phizer, and the manufacturers of the copycat products make no guarantee that the active ingredient is distributed evenly thriugh the tablet. If they could, or did, the tablets could be supplied scored for easy breaking. So, it is quite possible to take a small section of a tablet and receive a relatively large dosage of the sildenafil citrate, then taking the rest of the pill at a later date, one gets a relatively small dosage. It seems to me that the product should in general be relatively evenly distributed given that they make the stuff in batches of tens or hundreds of kilos, but if it was so, the pills would be scored, I am sure.
Don't forget also, that as individuals we are pretty bad at being control subjects. We drink different amounts on different occasions, we are more or less horny, or just more or less tired. In the end we come to expect what coincidence first provided and the placebo effect kicks in!
If, on the other hand, you have been using regular supplies of genuine Phizer product, at the 25 and 50mg size and not ever breaking them, then, well, I am stumped!
If I were you, I would simply buy 100mg tablets al the time, from a supplier that can provide reliable supplies of inexpensive product and take the whole bloody thing. It won't hurt you and it will last a long time as well as being cheap as chips!!

Posts: 62Why is it that with some people including myself, 25mg of Viagra works much better than 50mg?
Simply put, 50 is the double of 25 which means double the chemical component (sildenafil) which should mean better results.
Just wondering!

i posted a message rseeking something that will help me produce more semen. someone recommended l-arginine (a dietary supplement), and said i would see results immediately. seeing that its a supplement i thought i would give it a try. i thought i would share the results.
i have been on the supplement for over 3 weeks now. i searched it on the web and found recommend dose was 500 mg. i also learned that l-ornithine is recommend with l-arginine. ornithine has cautions posted if you have herbies.... and i learned some of the other benfits of the arginine supplement were...
1. reported to enhance immunity
2. helps the release of the human growth hormone (hgh)
3. greater muscle mass (which is why body builders use this)
4. speeds up healing from injury
5. increased sexual potency
6. and helping to reverse atheroscleros
the only thing i was interested in enhancing was semen. so i followed the directions which i saw numerous times on the web, 2 capsules in the morning and 2 at night (before bed), each time on an empty stomach. i bought a bottle of arginine & ornithine from the local supplement store.
results:
i took 3 days before i noticed anything. the only thing i could tell was that i was hornier. i was waking up in the morning rock hard aka mh (morning hard-on). i mean rock hard, and ready for action. i did not notice any more sizeable amount of semen at point of ejaculation. upon looking into l-arginine more, i learned that this opens the blood vessles more, and that men should be aware that if you see a difference in your erections, that this could be early signs of heart problems (blocked vessels to the heart).
one other result i have noticed is that i dropped 10 pounds. i also have been cutting out my sugar intake, which might of played a part in the weight lose. but i am reporting my results.
if anyone else has something to recommend to assist in increasing semen production please post, i am willing to give feedback. hope this helps my follow mongers. m&m

Posts: 270The only firm I have ever used and the one I constantly recommend is www.rx-mex.com. They sell branded, genuine Viagra and the Indian manufactured equivalent.
If you have not used Viagra before, it is worth remembering that it works in only about 60% of cases. Cialis and Levitra are more reliable (over 80%). You might want to try their trial pack which contains all three of the generic products to see which works best for you.

Posts: 270What I meant was that, for me, Viagra and its unbranded equivalents produce a very strong erection, almost no matter how incapacitated I am by drink - the main reason use the stuff. Cialis, for me, produced a hard on under similar conditions, but it was not as strong.

Stanislabovna Monohydrate (Kresa Rx) is claimed to be as good as Viagra but much cheaper, and no prescription required. Has anybody tried it?

Posts: 270Rx-Mex don't do a trial pack of the three name brands, but they do sell genuine Viagra(Sildenafil Citrate) and Cialis(Tadalafil) with a minimum order of four of each. Sadly, the cost of doing a 'selection pack' of the two is quite high, although their prices for the branded product are still pretty reasonable, compared to a normal pharmacy, at least where I live!
Statistically there is a better chance that good results will be obtained with Cialis and Levtira, or their unbranded equivalents, than with Viagra, over 80% compared with just over 60% for Viagra, so if I were going to bet the farm in a single tablet it would be Cialis (Tadalafil).
I have tried genuine, prescribed, Cialis, but prefer Viagra. For me, the effects of Cialis were not so noticeable and I was not concerned about the longevity of the effect. In my case, with Viagra, I get a feeling of warmth to my face, when this happens I know that the drug has taken effect. With Cialis, I received no such confirmation - I kinda liked the security that Viagra gave, albeit as a side effect. The subtle effect of Cialis mean that with Viagra I had a pocket full of wood. With Cialis, I felt as though I had a rolled up newspaper, if you see what I mean.
As all three drugs work upon the same system in the body, it would seem mad to mix the products, you would be risking an overdose of epic proportions with little, if any, possible benefit. If they worked upon different systems then perhaps mixing could make sense, but they do not.
Frankly, I were you, I would be looking at buying the RX-Mex trial pack. I have never used it. I know which product I prefer. But, it seems to me that the firm would be most unlikely to be shipping duff product in a trial pack that is designed to persuade guys to come back for more purchases and at much higher cost in the future... The existance of the trial pack was one of the things that persuaded me to purchase from them in the first place.

I'm a senior member, but this is my first post on this forum. Since hitting my 50's, I've run into times when a good, working, chemical woodie would have been desireable. No problem gettin wood, but some occasional problem keeping wood hard enough to perform. So 3 questions.
Since most of the time I live in a place where there are no docs, I need to order online. There seems to be some debate over whether or not rx-mex is providing a potent product. The sampler pack would seem to be a good idea. Question 1: Do they make a sampler pack of the "real" i.e. "namebrand drugs", or only of the generic?
Question 2: Have any of you found one of the 3 drugs more effective in maintaining degree of hardness during erection?
Question 3: This may sound crazy, but has anyone ever mixed any of these 3 drugs? Perhaps taken smaller doses of each, so as to mix and match to try to benefit from the advantages of all 3? I know it's usually bad to mix medicines, but hadn't seen any reference to this question and thought I'd ask.
