Well according to my Tomtom GPS is Hennef, if you key in Lichtenberg you'll go to another city in Germany near the Czech border.

Hennef-Lichtenberg is the korrect place.

Who's right apparently depends on who's asking and for what purpose:

1.) Maps (and the signs actually in and near the village) say Lichtenberg.

2.) GPSes and Google Maps say that Bernds is in Hennef (Sieg.) My GPS does respond to just Hennef also.

3.) The management refers to the place as Hennef/Lichtenberg. Or at least that's how Conny or the "bartender of the day" answers the phone. Before the website update c. 2007, even their business cards just said Sauna-Club Hennef/Lichtenberg.

Of course we know for sure that a.) the town is not named Schieferhof and b.) this is pretty concrete proof that the writers and editors responsible for the askmen.com article never went there.

Well, I can't resist polluting the Bernd's thread with my top 10 list. Will limit to two places in each country to keep some variety:

1. Subic bay, Philippines: The bars along Barrio Barreto in combination with the lazy life there hanging on the beach is great. Can't really name on specific bar there, but there are plenty of them
2. Privee, Tarragona, Spain: This summer had one of the best lineups I have seen in a club in Europe and the sessions were without exception fantastic
3. Angeles city, Philippines: around 300 girly bars side by side, really sleezy place, but great fun, but after a while you just got to get out of that town
4. Sauna 18, Macau: As Isseu says, the lineup
is unmatched in this place if you like Asian women. Chinese, Vietnamese, Mongolian...and even Russian girls there. @Isseu: The price is not included in the ferry ticket, but the ferry ticket is included in the sauna package.
5. Oase, Frankfurt, Germany: IMO the most consistent FKK club in Germany. Lineup is consistently decent, food is consistently bad, rooms are consistently dirty and the lockerroom smell is consistently nasty. Love the place
6. The other 10-15 saunas in Macau: Can't really distinguish between them, but honorable mention to Rio, Excellent, East Spa, Sanado, Boss. Do not really like Fortuna and I loath Supreme sauna for undisclosed reasons
7. Estark, Madrid, Spain: Small place filled with mostly Romanians, but I happen to love Romanians
8. Neptunes, Hong Kong: Good selection of Thai, Vietnamese, Phil and Indo girls there. A good mixture of hardcore old timers and new fresh girls
9. Living Room, Germany: I just really like the place, the management and always have good time there. Lineup last winter/spring was very good
10. Golden time, Vienna, Austria: Only been there once, but at that time they had a great lineup and I had 3 great sessions

What about Bernd's? Well, I really like the place and I can see the attraction of it. The lineup does just not have quite the selection of good looking girls I need, but I will still have it on my places to visit if I am passing by, but wont make a big detour to get there. On an extended Asian business trip the last couple of weeks, with 5 Asian beauties keeping me busy during my off time, so I’ve had little chance to follow the forum. 1. Bernd’s, Lichtenberg, Germany: This one is obvious for those of you who know me or have followed my postings. I thank my lucky stars every day that I’m able to get here regularly and can afford to visit whenever the opportunity arises. It's small, outdated, and can be intimidating for a first time visitor and/or non-German speaker, but it performs its primary purpose, the provision of professional sexual services, exceptionally. I have no doubt that I benefit from being a familiar face, which results in a service level that cannot be matched anywhere. I would be a very frustrated, horny and insufferable middle-aged crank if not for the expert ministrations of the Hof women.

2. Eden, Bangkok, Thailand: Have to agree with the previous poster about this. $100 gets you 2 experienced horny practitioners who will do anything that your perverted mind can think of for 90 minutes of non-stop action. Once you find a favorite, you can order her out to your hotel room for the night and usually most of the next day for about $120.

3. 18 Sauna Club, Macau: After you’ve had a hands-on bath from the young female shower attendants, a foot massage, a scalp massage and ordered dinner from the restaurant, 150 of the most gorgeous Asian women of every size and nationality lineup for you to choose from. An amazing, large beautifully designed place taking up a couple of floors of a high rise hotel and they even have bunks to sleep in if you’re too knackered from all of the treatments. And, it’s all included in the price of the ferry from Hong Kong!

Oase, Burgholzhausen, Germany: Ok, so the food’s not great, the ventilation sucks, and the place could use a thorough cleaning, but the facilities, especially the pool/ outdoor area are really good, and I find that it's always had the most consistently good and diverse SP lineup of all of the other options in the Frankfurt area. It’s been like that for a very long time, and a night at the Oase, in the arms of some of its stars, with an occasional newcomer thrown into the mix, is hard to beat.

6. 4X4, Rio De Janeiro: This was my first Rio club and remains my favorite, since I’ve only had great experiences there. Agree with the previous posters, it’s hectic, frenzied and crowded but still upscale with almost 100 sexy bundas vying for your loving. It’s impossible to pick a bad companion, and once you click, there’s an excellent chance that the loving will continue outside of the club. Great service ethic and very good value for money.

7. Annie’s, Bangkok: It’s hard to stand out in a place like BKK, where you literally trip over massage parlors as you walk the streets, but Annie’s has been doing it for 20 years, with involved hands-on management, and a nice variety of lovely young masseuses. Located right in poon central, the place needed to be renovated 10 years ago, but it’s easy not to notice the flaking paint job, when you’re being cleaned and brushed by a young bush.

8. Mettmann, Mettmann, Germany: Once again, have to agree with the previous poster. The women are not FKK standard but the service level can’t be beat. Also not for the shy and retiring, but what an incredible, intense experience, right out of the kinkiest most decadent porn movie.

9. Hong Kong, Tijuana, Mexico: Just down the block from Adelita’s which was previously mentioned, I find it less cliquey than A’s, more spacious and easier to find a suitable companion. Probably the most amazing strip club you’ve ever seen. Entering the 4 levels of gyrating bodies, you’re overcome with sensory overload as it’s hard to take in all of the action around you. It's all a bit kitschy, but the senioritas aren’t and for $50, they’re happy to go upstairs with you.

10. Orchard Towers, Singapore: By day, a cheap, sleazy shopping center, at night it’s transformed into one big sleazy pick-up bar. 10 different clubs are located on its 3 floors, with close to 1,000 women to choose from all over the Asian continent. I’ve enjoyed the pleasures of Vietnam, Mongolia, Malaysia, the Philippines, China and Korea here. It’s hard to go wrong, but choose carefully or you may find an unpleasant surprise poking out at you between the sheets.

Then again, there were times at the Hof when it really blew my mind. Leonie and Debbie and Jamilla and Steffie on the same day: that really deserved a top 10 billing! OK, forget it; I can't make up my mind.

Wow I didn't realise I opened the Pandora's box (in a good way) for the top 10 brothels by referring to AskMen.

I'm convinced that AskMen didn't checked out the nominated brothels them self, as some places on the list are not good.

My personal ranking, according to the best sexual experiences I had in the brothels. I'm not taking the food and relax facilities in to consideration.
