Im just back from a short trip to Dusseldorf and I met an older German guy in Club Tabulous yesterday, who claims to be a Bernd's regular, and he says that Bernd's is well known for bareback sex, and that not all women do it, but about half do.

It's funny you say that. I work with a German guy in the States who is dialed in pretty well to the sex scene in Germany and has been going to Bernds for many, many years and told me the exact same thing. About half (maybe more) girls do it there. He said it's always been that way at that club which is why he always frequents it when he goes back home. Later on, I discovered that it would have been quicker to change to the S12 - direction Au (Sieg) from the lower level platform at Siegburg Bonn, directly to Hennef (Sieg) and then taken a taxi from there, which would have cost somewhat less, at EUR 14.00.

Good report, and glad that you were able to use the public transit route. Just some points:
*The taxi ride from Siegburg to Lichtenberg takes between 10 and 15 minutes depending on the slow moving traffic, and whether or not you catch the 3 traffic lights on the way. It costs between 22-25 Euro.
*Yes Hennef Sieg is slightly closer to Lichtenberg, so the taxi ride is less expensive, but unless you get the S-bahn right away, I doubt if it's quicker. The S-bahn runs 4-5 times an hour and if you're like me on a tight travel/mongering schedule, I prefer to spend the extra 10 Euro and have the extra time in the arms of Monica, Jessi, Princess, Katja, etc.
*It's really simple to get to the 560/8 from the Siegburg station and probably less than a kilometer. From the taxi stand near the southbound tracks, have the taxi make a U-turn. At the corner make a right. After the traffic light, go over the over pass and get on the 560 which becomes the 8.

Bernds is a good club and its lineup suceeds because they are professionals who maintain the illusion they are amateurs. Given a choice, I'd prefer an all amateur lineup but Bernds will do.
