OK so this is a big ask, but is there anyone on here that uses Bernds and travels by car,? I'm after a return lift from Cologne Airport. I am an easy going mid 40's male from the UK. There is a lot of competition, and many of the older places have been given a face lift, while this outfit remains much as it always was, apart from the TV and wifi room downstairs. That's its strength, but perhaps also its vulnerable point.

@ TankTank123, Dufey, Syzygies, Dreams et al , thanks for your insights, it bears out our experiences at Bernds, and the countryside is really marvellous there in Summer, if overnighting, the breakfast at the small inn (german speaking, and seems to only take booking by phone) is also unbelievable value for money (included in the room price I think still 30?)

@ HB, That's a big leap of assumption based on a question that is a concern to me.

I love Germany, and have been there countless times over 15 years thanks to my airline job (now retired) sadly, I came to FKK (brothels) very late in that era so I am a newbie however I have enjoyed FKK spas (family friendly) for many years, relatively few non-Germans even know about these places!

My friend and I were in Berlin in 2012 and went into a bar down near Tempelhof after Germany won UEFA if I recall correctly. There were a group of four, being two men and their women, who looked at him with true hatred, I saw it and it was pretty nasty shit. So he decided to leave, and go back to our hotel. I am blond, and further, not out to find trouble but not easily intimidated, so I stayed on and finished my beer, but as soon as he left they did not even look my way again. It was one of theose old-school working man bars, which is why we chose it to experience a true German local, not the trendy Berlin for tourists. I guess we just met the local hillbillies that night!

But it was an ugly moment in our visit that month which was great and he still raves about FKK and we hope we will be back. We covered Bernd's and Paschas in Koln, and that is the reason I asked. I am not here to bash Germany, a great country, and a favourite of mine, OK I read my earlier question again, and see how it could sound a little upsetting to German mongers, so hope the air is clear again, thanks!

Also I do understand that some clubs in the North near the border, do in fact have race bans. I am not passing a judgement as the Japanese do the same in Japan, but we don't want to waste time and have to recover from another nasty experience.

So, unless Roxanna reappears at Sharks and there are reports of my favorites returning to World, it will be Oase and Bernd's again for me when I get to Germany next month.

Since you initiated this, I give my 2 cents:

I have been many time to both clubs, but have now shifted towards Bernds.

Because, as said before by others, Bernds has CIM included, and, yes, for a 60+ guy like me, CIM is the most likely way to finish. And also because, the service is constantly excellent, thanks to the control of the Theke, while at Oase, you have to be careful in choosing. I have been upsold more than once at Oase, never at Bernds.

And last, Bernds is a much more friendly place for Seniors.

So yes, let's have different clubs for different people that's the beauty of German's FKKs that there is so much variety to choose form.

This was one of my points made in my field report of Bernds that there was clientele where Bernds is a more welcoming environment for the senior gent. The girls are not the best lookers but they make up for it with acceptance of the men and their foibles.

I still patronize both. In my last stay in Germany 2 weeks ago, I spent 4 days in Oase, 2 in Bernd's, 1 in World and 1 in Babylon.

Bernd's was where I enjoyed myself most, as usual. I have 3 favorites there who always succeed in giving me the illusion that I am their closest boyfriend. There is hardly any turnover, so I am always assured that I will find 2 of them present. And the rest of the girls also are very friendly with me despite my not having ever gone with them. It is like a very cosy home away from home, except that it has a collection of girlfriends to choose from.
