Had the opportunity to go through Hamburg (see Atmos report) and come back through Frankfurt on a trip to Denmark. So took the advantage of a stop at Oase on Thursday night. A great decision. Only regret is it was only one night! Thursday unfortunately is 'cover up night'. And some of the girls took it to extreme. With full nightgowns, which limits one of the FKK advantages. But OK, not just there to look.

Arrived around 10 PM. And appeared to be a good female to male relationship, but also appeared that some of the regulars were missing. As a matter of fact, other than Lucia (one I would not repeat), I don't think I saw any that I have spent time with in my visits in the past year.

I took me a while to do the interview process. Before settling on a girl from Romania. She was around 165 cm, dark hair, great grey-blue eyes, small breasts (A? ), but slim and great legs. She also had a great smile. And good bantering skills (in English). Talked for a while at the bar, finally decided to take the plunge. Quickly found a room (open rooms all night! ). Last Friday night Oase had a very good lineup and a good balance of girls and male guests. Enough customers to keep the girls relatively happy, but not so much that wait for rooms were more than few minutes.

A note on Oase hygenic standards: The rooms are getting filthier and filthier every time I visit. For my stay there between 8pm and 5am, I did not see a single staff member doing any attempts at cleaning the rooms. Soap ran out soon after midnight in the downstairs showers and was not refilled. There are however new doors on the downstairs toilets. I would have preferred the soap instead of the new doors :-). Still my favorite club, but I wander how long I can stand it for being so damn cheap on the cleaning.

Actually, as one who is so articulate and obviously educated, I have unfortunately had to read Homer more than once. I was playing with you a little bit using the word "odyssey" and then throwing in the " whoever that is" comment. The word odyssey is actually derived from Odysseus' name (who by the way is also known as Ulysses).

Still I must wonder why you consider me a real Odysseus figure:

In comparing you to the great Odysseus, I was simply referencing his attributes as resourcefull and smart, not any negatives. Virgil, a Roman poet, composed the Aenied, the saga of Aeneas, who was a Trojan hero, therefore an enemy of Odysseus. Aeneas is a father figure to Romulus and Remus, the two children suckled by a wolf, who eventurally founded Rome. This is why the Romans looked at Odysseus (or Ulysses in Latin) in a negative light.

Anyway, I am glad this forum can be educational at times...Imagine: from pissing contests to the Trojan War, all in 48hours! Who would have thought?

He was famous for being "nimble-witted" and "resourceful," rather than fighting his way out of conflicts with mere muscles. He is credited as being the brains behind the Trojan Horse episode, etc., etc.

*You're right in stating that he was known as resourceful and sly, but traditional commentators on these mythic classics also focus on the fact that his name actually means "one who is wrathful/hated".
I hope that that's not the case.

*The Romans considered him a villainous falsifier. In the Aeneid he is even called "deceitful". Though the Greeks admired his cunning and deceit, these qualities did not sit well with the Romans since the many stratagems and tricks that he employed to get his way offended Roman notions of honor.
I have been known to occasionally illustrate my reports with some well-meaning hyperbole but I certainly haven't been deceitful or filed villianously falsified reports even about "Romanians". And while I am proud of the strategems that I employ to get my way with various FKK lovelies, I hope that I have not offended any of their notions of honor.

* At some point Odysseus tried to avoid having to rescue Helen by feigning lunacy. He hooked a donkey and an ox, each with different stride lengths to his plow, and sowed his fields with salt.
While I have also feigned lunacy to get out of potentially disastrous sessions, I would never try to simultaneously hitch a short but lovely Thai SP with a tall but equally lovely Bulgarian SP to my plow or sow their fields with salt, just somewhat salty seed.

* Odysseus tried to recruit Achilles to assist in taking Troy, but Achilles's mother disguised him as a woman to hide him from the recruiters. Even in really dark FKK lounges, I can usually tell a boy from a woman, and have often had my weapon clutched even without sounding the battle cry.

While I have often counselled fellow mongers on the virtue of a good rest I would never counsel them to prefer this over the pleasures of their hormone- driven desire.

*Odysseus was known for his self-restraint and diplomatic skills. To win the war, Odysseus went out to retrieve the poisonous arrows of Heracles from Philoctetes, who was still enraged at Odysseus. His first instinct was to shoot him, but his anger was eventually diffused by Odysseus's persuasive powers and the influence of the gods. Odysseus returned with the arrows.
I do use a great deal of self- restraint and my meager diplomatic skills in diffusing heady situations and avoiding getting shot down by sexy sharks, and rely on my persuasive powers and the influence of the Gods to get really great steamy sessions. But, I have never returned with my poisonous arrows. I shoot those suckers before I ever leave a club.

The island of Ikaria, is named after him and his fall...
