I've been made aware that you can do a test on site for 5 EUR, but what kind of a test is it? Is it a PCR test, where they stick it down your brain, or a "quick test" (Schnelltest) where they don't go that deep?

TO enter club (or restaurant, or hotel, etc), you need a least an offical Antigen (schnell) test with certificate, PCR is also ok, but more expensive. Antigen test you can get everywhere in Germany, some clubs offer this also, some ask 5 euro. The schnelltest from supermarket does NOT give you entrance (you need test certificate with name, etc).

Some clubs like Samya ask for less than 48 hours negative test, not only vaccined, when can be positive and give. I don t know if all clubs do same, bug most opened in NRW.

Both are supposed to swab the posterior nasopharynx. It's not supposed to be different if done correctly.
