I do not think walking around in the nude for a man is too much of a problem. You see a few of the older well into the FKK concept type of guys walking around nude and may as a token carry their towel over their shoulder instead of wrapped around their waist.

Letting it all hang out is allowed.

Actually they should DEFINITELY change this answer because it is very confusing and perhaps prevents a lot of people from going to their club. I can say that around 5 years ago I already planned to visit this club. But each time when I saw this FAQ, I gave up the idea because I did not want to walk around without any clothes. Conventional wisdom would say: The best club for NYE should be Sharks. At least that was emphatically the case last year. The main reason that the Sharks card falls on the table first is that the management of Sharks has a deliberate policy to attract girls to the club during the Christmas / NYE period by offering them a cash bonus for working during these two weeks. Oase by contrast employed "cowboy diplomacy" by threatening to ban any of their girls from working the club if they did not stay for NYE.

If these trends are repeated this year, I'd much rather go to a club with a girl line-up happy to be their (because of money incentives) than to club where the girls are there because of some kind of duress. I say this even though, generally speaking, I much prefer Oase as a club over Sharks.

At the end of the day, however, if you are flying great distances just to party at FKKs during NYE, then you should probably visit several clubs on the lead up to NYE in order to get a feeling for the club vibes and line-ups and then make your own decision the day before NYE based on what you see and experience beforehand.

All men at Oase wear bathrobes or towels around the waist like in the other FKKs. The Q&A in the FAQ section is trying to explain that you won't be allowed to walk around freely in the club wearing your street clothes (jeans and shirt). You will be expected to wear the FKK attire (bathrobe or towel).

It's too early to predict what the best club is. The "best club" for NYE last year may not be the "best club" for NYE this year. Your best bet is to visit a club a few days before New Years Eve. It appears you have two day / nights to do your reconaisance work. If you spot some girls you like, you can ask them if they plan to work NYE.
