Nothing of that, the renovations are slower than the construction of the pyramids and no fresh pizza but still the usual crappy food. Nothing has been done except the kino wall that has been removed and the men lockers moved upstairs. These latter are at least much nicer now and have a proper shower and toilets area. That's all, I will go there again only in the warm summer days so I will stay all day outside in the garden.

Chatted with the manager on Sunday, though she didn't have much english. Thought she said the new restaurant area will be open at the end of next month. Change room is larger but they need more benches. Everyone I've spoke to hates the kino wall being removed. Spoils the whole kino effect as everyone in the smoking area can see in. Getting to Oase its not so complicated, you can easily go from the Airport to Bad Homburg by subway, a little bit more than half an hour, and then a Taxi. World does seem a difficult acess, but not Oase.

As an international customer, for someone without local knowledge and a car, World just seems too far out of town to bother with. Oase is borderline in that regard for me, but The Palace is so easy to get to when staying in Frankfurt.

So, on that basis I think a lot of overseas visitors will deal with the "shark" issues and visit The Palace unless they are staying for some time.

What is a good hotel between FRA airport and the club. Early flight.

Stay in Kelsterbach north of the airport. They have Ibis, Mercure, and NH there, among others. I believe they all have airport shuttles to / from hotel. Takes about 10 minutes to get to / from hotel on shuttle. About 20 minutes by car to Oase. I've never used them but there is a Europcar car rental place very close to Mercure and Ibis. May be a way to avoid the airport surcharge that Avis, SixT, etc. Charge.
