With the right amount of perseverance all clubs are reachable via public transport if not a combination of public transport and cabs. (Someone actually asked here which clubs in Germany are reachable via cab. The answer of course is: all of them).

If you must make FRA your base of operations you should, at the very least, visit the Hessen Three: Palace, Oase and World. There are, as well, minor clubs within Hessen but these three are a good place to start.

They are all semi-reachable via public transport. Palace is directly in the city.

If I were you (and this is just me talking and reflecting my personal tastes), I'd only visit Oase. I'd forget the rest (again this is just my personal opinion). But you aren't me so go visit all three.

Once you've visited all three and still want to see more of the clubs in Hessen, you'd then have the Aldi in Dietzenbach, Atlantica (or whatever it is called) in Hanau and several more to visit. These are the minor clubs.

In fact, I just published a list of minor clubs in Hessen which don't get reported on much here. I'll find the link for you in case you want to do some exploration.

If you have had your fill and want to leave Hessen then the next set of clubs are those to the north in NRW.

I personally don't like large clubs but let me then send you down the beaten path to the Grenzgebietclubs near the Dutch border in what is sometimes called the Golden Triangle. To visit these clubs you will need a car (though again with the right amount of persistence, they are actually all reachable via public transport).

Which clubs are on this beaten path? Easy enough to figure out. Visit the main FKK club thread and make a list of the most visited clubs based on the number of posts under each thread.

I usually mooch rides from my "pussy posse". However, I often have to do some public transport.

Above is the link to DB, the German railroad. If you stay in Frankfurt near Hauptbahnhof, public transportation is a breeze.

For Palace- Take the underground U4 one or two stops to Bockenheimer Waarte- walk upstairs and change to the U6 or U7 toward Hausen and get off two or three stops later at Nieu Borse. Cross the tracks ahead of the train across the street go in train's direction until a gap in the wall on your left. Walk 1.5 blocks straight to the club. Taxi 10-12 euros to or from Hauptbahnhof.

Oase Take the S-bahn S-5 to the end of the line at Friedrichsdorf, then taxi to club for 8 euro. Reverse to go home up until midnight or wait until 4 AM - or else take taxi for 40 euro.

World- train to Giessen from Hauptbahnhof 13 euro- 45 minutes. Then either taxi direct to the club- 17-20 euro or take a bus to Lich and other lines as well- just ask the driver if he stops at Garbenteich Sportzplatz, then follow the signs to World on the road side. Walk around the soccer field, cross the railroad tracks and go right, then left at the self serve gas station and the clubs driveways are clearly marked on your right as you pass the gas station.

I believe the Oase in Burgholzhausen is about ten years old. It was new in 1998 based on notes I wrote way, way back.

But then again, this too is true: there was (or maybe still is) a Sudfass Oase in Frankfurt.

Did you leave the city to visit this Oase or was it within the city limits?

Yes, in my experience your €50 session tends to end at 30 minutes or when you come whichever comes earlier.
