After countless return trips at night from Oase to Friedrichsdorf station without issues, I encountered the first problem last night.

On the way to the station, the driver tried to entice me to go all the way to Frankfurt saying that he would deliver me to my doorstep for 40 euros. I said no thank you as I was on time for the train and my hotel was next to the Frankfurt hbf.

At the last roundabout before the Friedrichsdorf station, he stopped the taxi, and asked for 10 euros and said that it was just a 50 metres walk. I looked at the meter. Big mistake, I forgot to check whether he turned in on, so he has no more motivation to drive further. I refused and insisted that he drive to the station or I would not pay him.
He then said that he was late for another pickup and that he cannot U turn at the station. I told him I can demonstrate a U turn there easily. And we went on arguing for 2 minutes, until he gave up and drove me there.

Lesson learnt is to always ensure the meter is on. It is always cheaper than 10 euros, although I normally round it up to Q10 euros when the driver is nice.

Came back from a couple of days in Frankfurt area and visited the club twice, I would call this club little Romania. Not like the other FKK club I know from Berlin in this one there are so many Romanian girls that it made me laugh.
