Posted on 8/12/02. I'm often in the area due to my job,and often times I like it better than Nogales. There are no strip clubs that I'm aware of, and there are none of those annoying guys that follow you around pestering you. The hooker scene is more low-key but very active. There is one area off of 6th Ave with a group of bars all filled with working girls, with rooms in the back to take the girls. There are some very pretty girls depending on when you go. I enjoy more hanging out in these bars than the high-pressure bars of Nogales. Much more low-key. I'm surprised more guys don't frequent these places, I've been there dozens of times and I've never seen another gringo. Not much day time action though.

I saw this post from Borderguy, and I'm wondering about it. I'm guessing he's talking about Agua Prieta??? I hope I'm correct on this. Now he talks about,"One area off of 6th Ave with a group of bars all filled with working girls, with rooms in the back to take the girls."

Now this is interesting. I'm wondering where bouts on 6th ave? This would be the kind of action, that I like.

In my opinion, Mexicali is a better option. Good quality "Ficheras" are hard to find in that town.

You might already know your way around AP, if so, no need to read any futher, if not.

Many girls don't work on Sunday. Also, the ones that do usually don't show up "Dress for Work" until around 10PM. Three block south of the border crossing and one block west (turn right) is where most of the HOTTER looking and MUCH more expensive gals work. I don't remember the name, something like Gaui Gaui or Maui Maui. That block is short and the club is on the left.

The other to are in The ZONE. ALL taxi drivers know where the Flamingo and 5&10 are. Usually about 50pesos to get there.

I don't think that AP is any crazier than any of the other boarder towns. It is MUCH smaller and the selection of girls is not as good as with Nogales, Algodones or Mexicali. IMHO AP is an entirely different scene.

AP is the kind of place that I like to visit for a few 1-6 hours and then go back to the USA. Several years ago I did have a GF that worked at the 5&10. I would pick her up near her home and we would spend the night in a hotel. She was good in the bed, but not GREAT (not like some of the gals in know down in Nogales).

Now I go to AP only when I want a change. In AP you can get some CHEAP action at either the Flamingo (100pesos for the room and 400pesos for the girl) or 5&10 (100pesos for the room and 500pesos for the girl). I like to drive into town, tour the clubs, pick one out of the herd, do my business and then go back to the USA. Hi in Douglas on businees anybody around going to AP. PM me or reply if so.

Made a quick trip down to Douglas and across to AP. Drove around AP in hopes of finding so gals strolling around that might be needing a "ride". No joy.

Head over to La Zona and visited the 5 & 10 and Flamingo. Flamingo was DEAD with only three gals, two of which I would F*$k with a borrowed dick. The third was skinny but cute. She was stoned and a little bitchy so I headed over to the Patio 5&10.

They had their usual 8 girls, of which 2. 5 were do-able. About 1145PM a different bunch of girls showed up to have a few drinks. There were about 5 gals and they were all pretty nice. I asked the bartender about one gal named Sandra. He stated that she and a couple of the other girls worked over at the Flamingo, but were taking the night off to party.

I called Sandra over and asked if she had a room over at the Flamingo. Before long we were naked and I was having my dick sucked. She gave a very nice BBBJ, followed by CFS. This gal like doing the deed to include lots of DKF, moaning, thrashing & digging her nails into my back & ass.

We had our 30minutes of fun and then headed back out to the Flamingo bar. Or at least she did, as I headed home. Last time I was there (5 years ago) , there was some street action on 13th. But nothing good. One time a guy (pimp) offered me to take me to a house with girls, but I was chicken to get in the car with him and drive somewhere. Didn't want to get kidnapped or something like that. One guy told me he took a stripper out of a club for 150 us for an hour. That's all I know.

What's good in RP? Anyone been there recently? Please comment on safety too, because of the recent events.

Map, yes. Helpful, questionable. First, the map does nothing to show were this area is in relation to the border. Second, only the Flamingo & the 5/10 still have any girls. Scandolos bar closed this location and moved to new a location a few blocks from the border (the one described in my earlier post). The other two bars shown are both dried up as far as girls go.

Do not knock on the window at the Flamingo as stated in the published map. These girls change rooms almost as often as they do condoms. Go into the bars and check out the girls. Often the girls show up late, 930PM-10PM is usually when most of the girls have shown up. Once you find one you like and have had a visit to her room, then you know were she lives (at least for the moment). I usually get the phone numbers of the ladies I like and call them prior to me wanting to go and see them.

Even my very bad spanish usually gets the message across. "Donde estas? " Where are you? Voy a Nogales/Ap or voy a tu cuarto Sabado. I am going to Nogales or I am going to your room Saturday. You get the idea. I just want to find out if they are in town and available to see my gringo ass once I get there. As poor and improper as this attempt at spanish might be, it gets me layed more often than not.

Check out some LOBO's post. He has several good phrases that will help. Write them down on a little note card. Hell, even if you can't pronounce the words, show the phrases to your new girlfriend, have a great laugh and get layed.

Cross into MX and tell the first taxi driver "La Zona"(about a 40-50 pesos ride). The Zone is about a mile south of the border. There are two clubs there. Patio 5/10 prices are 400-500 for the girl & 100 for the room. The Flamingo (across the dirt lot from Patio) is 400/100. Another place is close to the border, cross over head south on same street as you crossed on, go about 3-4 streets turn right at it is on the left within the same block. Never really liked that place since they moved it from the Zone closer to the border.

W/re to other night life there are several night clubs, they usually get started pretty late. Be careful, some of the local bars/clubs have TV. That is unless you like men dressed as women.

I like Nogales better. More clubs, more women, and some are really wanting extra money these days. The clubs in Nogie have two shifts; 11AM-8PM & 8PM-2AM. I like to visit all the girls during the early shift, and set up dates for when they get off at 8PM. Once that date is over, usually 9-10PM, then I make the same rounds visiting the girls on the 8PM-2AM shift doing the same thing. Setting up dates for 2AM. I get all their phone number and start all over again the next morning. Except I start having the early shift girls come by my hotel on their way to work. Same with the PM shift girls. If you work it right you can have four to 4-6 different girls a day.

If that isn't enough, there is the after hours club where all the party girls go after they get off work. Be careful there as many of the local Mexican guys are already drunk and sometimes get a little aggressive with gringos.

NO, I didn't discover all this on my own. I had a master teacher. El LOBO. He is the man when it comes to working the streets in Nogales.

This weekend I am planning my mongering trip down south. Was planning on heading down on Friday morning, doing a walkaround though the afternoon and then off to the bar for some action after sunset.

Initially, I was thinking about heading to Los Algodones (SW of Yuma, AZ) and trying to hook up with a fellow monger who lives in Yuma. Hard to pass up the opportunity to go with a seasoned wingman.

I was talking/PMing with "AP Guy" awhile back and also thought about a trip to Agua Prieta. I don't have any real experience with either place.

Has anyone here been to both? How about a comparison?
