This little beach town is located on the Costa Alegre about an hour north of Manzanillo and a few hours south of PV. It is approximately a 4 hour bus ride from Guadalajara. On the southern side of the bay from this town is Barra de Navidad, a smaller town than St. Pat' that was hit hard by a hurricane a few years ago. St. Patricio's is considerably larger though it is arguable which town offers the best nightlife, if you can call it that.

Not much going on here with lots of older gringos and Mexican families arriving on weekends. More like a 'Weekend at Bernie's' crowd than anything else. However, the town does have three table dance / strip clubs. The taxi driver recommended one called Glady's Bar, which I went to last night. They are not open on Monday and Tuesday. It was a pretty laid back place with not a lot of hustle on the part of the girls. Some were fairly attractive and young and really no real gorditas in the bunch of about a dozen girls.

It is 30pesos for your own cerveza. 100 pesos for the girl, which comes in tiny bottles. The private dance is $200pesos or $15USD and lasts for only two songs. Not very impressed with the private room. I ended sitting on a stack of white plastic chairs so not very comfortable at all. The girl's body felt clammy, if not downright sweaty, from her prior dance and some idiot kept trying to open the curtain for a private peak. Touching was allowed, which I did, but in 7 or so minutes, there is not much else you can accomplish given the lack of privacy. I was told full service is on menu here as well but it has to be in another room that I did not see. A waiter in town told me they charge $1000 pesos for 20 minutes of full service, which seems pretty expensive. But, it should be noted that Manzanillo has a popular club called Miami Beach, which is a lot more expensive than the prices noted above. Most of the girls I was told come from Manzanillo or Colima, a city further inland from the coast.

When the dance finished, the girl wanted me to buy her another drink but I declined and called it an evening. Basically, it cost me $25 USD total for a very moderate night out. If I stayed, I figured it would cost me in the range of $200 USD or more since I was going to dump this girl for another, which starts the process all over again. Chat, Beer, private dance, more beer, maybe a 20 minute session etc.

I have just arrived in GDL and will be here through the weekend. Can anyone recommend massage places with full or partial service? I have RTF but the info seems dated or contradictory.

Tarrandas is still jumping as is Hipocampo and Haciendo outside of town. Sixty peso lap dances and two hundred for two song privados where they are supposed to get you off with at least a HJ, some include a CBJ for just the privado price. Standard rate is another 100pesos for CBJ and 200 for both. But this is only for two songs. Be sure the girls agree first beforehand or you'll get ridiculous prices in the room. Yes there is. I wrote a rather detailed report last April. Look back a few pages or search my username.

If you have the money you WANT to stay in the Hotel Zone. There was very little partying in the centro.

If all fails find a "pulmonia" driver that you trust and let him show you a few places. You will pay more this way but at least you will get something. Figure around $60 for 45 min.

If you do speak spanish and are comfortable in areas off the malecon HIRE a pulmonia driver ONLY to show you the spots. *Write down the address and prices so you can come back YOURSELF. He will quote you higher prices than what they really are (his cut).

The last week of March is when EASTER happens this year. Easter and Christmas are the worst times to monger in Latin America. Religion rules over mongering during those times. Chicas are with family.
