I arrived here 2 days ago and there is very little info on the Forum about Villahermosa. Another member PMed me about several strip clubs so I checked them out.

First off there is no action at all in El Centro. No strip clubs, massage, escort listings. Nada. The strip clubs are all a short cab ride away (20 pesos) along Perferico. Went to Imperio. Standard Mexican strip joint. No cover. Mixed drinks with a snack 60 pesos. Beer cheaper. About 10 attractive chicas working and very little pressure. But chica drinks start at 200 pesos and a privado is 120 p. Not too bad, but they watch the clock to the second (3 minutes for about $10US) and I could not get much action from the girl I chose. Light touching and no sex. Of course with the clock running at $200 US an hr, I would need to get off fast. Decided it was not for me. Not saying you cannot get a BJ or sex here. Only that I chose the wrong chica. Someone assured me he got a BBBJ here so it all depends on the girl.

Two blocks away I went to another club -Extasis. 50 peso cover, used against the price of your first drink. A rum and coke was 90 pesos here. The place was more crowded but had an UnderWorld feel to it. The manager with a black shirt and tie kept walking around the room with a bouncer. He brought a cute blonde to my table. She told me privados were 300p for 4 minutes topless and 400p nude. After a drink, I decided to leave. I was tired and I felt this place would run up the bill on me. Ok, so I went again to Playa del Carmen and here is my brief report.

First of all, again I should notice that I am Mexican, therefore, taxi drivers, door security don´t try to take dollars out of me. This is a very common practice with turists.

I went to Malibu, located on federal road, and there were 5 to 8 girls all of them 5-6 not good looking and a little bit chubby, full nudity is performed and it´s open in the day, now It was very unpleasant that one of the dancers had some white stuff coming out from her vagina, yikes! that was disgusting, maybe some candidiasis or something, I was so disgusted that I decided to leave inmediatly. He told me there was another house of citas called "casa de maria" this one is located on street 32 between 30 north and 25. It is a normal house, painted in orange with a wooden garage door and a metal door. A lady came out and showed me the list of prices wich was from 60 usd for 20 min to 120 for 90 min? I dont remember the last one. I asked to see the chicas, and the lady told me "only after you pay", so I paid for 30 min and stepped into a living room in which three girls showed up. two of them would be a 5-6 but one of them a petite girl with huge fake tits as an 8 so I asked for her services.

East of Chetumal is the area known as Calderitas many good cheap seafood restaurants along the water here. There are also several Brothels. The women range from 1 to 8 or so and from about 14 to 50 years old. prices start around 10us for a not so attractive girl and vary upward. This smallish farming town in on the back road through the mountains from El Tajin-Papantal to Xalapa. There is really nothing of interest to do in this town. But, I found a taxi driver and asked him to take me to a Casa de Citas. His name is Tomas and his cell phone is 044 232 322 1979. His taxi stand is one-half block down the street, to the right, past the Hotel Arbol, after coming out of the ADO bus terminal. He can be trusted and does not overcharge.

Casa de Citas Vicky is at Calle Corregidor No. 600 in the Villa Independencia neighborhood. Tomas charged me 17 pesos to drive me there. They are open from 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM. This is a cat house for farmers and working class Mexicans, but it is very safe. Don’t go expecting a fancy brothel. Go early while it is still somewhat cool and the sheets are not yet sticky!

It is a blue house on the right hand side at the end of the street. Go in through the wash room door, just right of the main entrance, and walk through the garage-laundry area to a small bar area which is semi-out of doors. There are a half a dozen plastic tables and a small bar. Soft drinks are 12 pesos, beers are 20 pesos and ladies beers are 30 pesos. Though, you don’t have to buy the ladies drinks to get laid. Be nice to the 70 year old lady running the bar, she is Vicky the owner. She offered to help me find a wife when I was there!

Surrounding this semi-outdoor bar area are 6 concrete block rooms with steel doors, which the girls use for service. The rooms are very, very basic and the beds rattle as you bang. It is kind of fun to sit there, sipping a beer, and listen to the girls giggle and men grunt as they get off. Every one here has a sense of humor and it is laid back.

During the harvest season, when there is money in town, there are usually about 12 – 14 girls working. Otherwise, there are about 5 – 7 girls working. I was here on a Wednesday and all the girls just got back from their mandatory, every 15-day, health screening, for VD. They all passed so we celebrated.

Papantla is not that good, but there are two bars which stock girls for carry out. Go out of the Hotel Totonacapan and turn left, the right, uphill one block on 20 de Noviembre, past the old bus station, then take a left on Calle Aquiles Serdan. (Or, this is just one block north, downhill from the Zocalo).

The bars are down a ways, mid block. On the left is the Bar Herradura and across on the right is the Globo bar. These are local, crummy bars, which specialize in selling you drinks while you talk to the girls. But, the girls are also available for out call, though they don´t turn a lot of tricks. The bars, like all of the town are very safe.

The pricing is: A beer for me was $3 to $4 USD and a drink for the lady is $7 USD. You can drink these while you negotiate. How romantic is that! The bar fine for taking out a girl is $200 pesos and for 1.5 hours service the charge is an additional $400 pesos.

You pay the girl all $600 pesos up front and then you are asked to wait outside for five minutes. She comes out, and you walk separately to the hotel. This is a small town, so they dont want to be seen walking with you.

I choose Isabella a 42 year old fake blonde, 4 foot 10 inches, 105 pounds. Thank god she was not fat, because she was not really that pretty. Dear Fellow Archeologists,
If anyone is going to El Tajin, here are some housing & travel tips. Papantla is a decent, though not colonial town built on a hillside, and it is the natural jumping off point for visiting the ruins.

All the hotels have a 1950s feel to them so don´t expect too much. The two best ones are right on the main plaza or Zocalo. I don`t know how chica friendly they are. I stayed in a large 4 story hotel that is definately chica friendly. It is Hotel Totonacapan, Calle Olivo & 20 de Noviembre, Colonia Centro, that is just three blocks downhill (north) of the Zocalo, every taxi driver knows where it is. I registered and paid for two guests, so as not to have trouble later on that night. The cost was $320 pesos. The room had air conditioning, which is a must. It is extremely well located, safe, clean, and the help is courteous.

El Tajin is the fourth most important precolumbian ruin in Mexico, according to the national history and arch institute. From the hotel, just walk one block (north) downhill, to the main highway, cross it, and await the Tajin bus. For, 8 pesos you get there in 30 minutes. Or, a taxi cost 50 pesos one way. Go early in the morning before it gets too hot.

This is my first post, Im in playa del carmen and wanted to add some information about the “night life”.

Well I visited three night clubs, the first one was Marlyn safari, located in the federal road, just behind the “safari disco” any taxi driver knows how to get there, it is inside a parking lot, very convenient so that nobody sees you getting in. The place was almost empty, tough it was Saturday night and there were about 7 girls with an average of 6-7 to me, all of them with the Latina type and there was one girl, Cuban style in her early 30`s who was delicious. Drinks are about 3-4 us, and lap dances (private) are 150 pesos, which is around 15us for one song. I didn´t ask for the special services since I didn´t like the place too much. I don´t even know how much it costs to have a girl with you (mostly the price is for the drink she has, I imagine 30 us.)

After that I went to this place called “la hueva” now, Im Mexican and this place is intended to work with Mexican people, for native playa del Carmen people. It is a very small place but 11 dollars for 5 beers lap dances were 15us as well, and if you want to have sex it cost 1500 pesos or 150 us. Some guys told me that if you invite a girl for a drink and stay long enough convincing her you may be able to DO her only paying two table dances in private. Girls were mostly 6 but there were 8´s. This place is located on 40th and 28th street.

Finally I went to Baby´s hot which is located on the federal road to tulum, it’s a rather big place with lots of girls, show was ok, two dances with clothes on and one without them, lap dances were 20us and drinks with the ladys were 30us, I didn´t ask for the “private services” now the quality of the girls was better and I would say 7 to 8. Many of them all over and sometimes they would put a show with shaving cream but nothing sexual. I had fun there slapping the girl´s butt and receiving a slap in the hand in return. Be careful, I saw how a guy got robbed there, when he payed the bill, the waiter threw one bill to the floor and then stated that the guy hadn´t given him the entire amount of the check. Why didn´t I say anything? Well, because If I had said anything I would have gotten hurt by the waiters who would most likely wait for me outside with sticks (this is true, Im Mexican I know it).

Now, none of these places charged me COVER but again, Im Mexican and the front door stated 30us charge fee for entrance. So, if you look American they will try, I guess.

So this was my visit. I will later try the adds in the newspaper of playa del Carmen.
