Anyone have info on Campeche or Villahermosa monger scene?

This town is ridiculous expensive with outrageous prices in strip clubs. Hit a few but Exctasis was the worse. Mostly chubby Mayan chicas who wanted 150US for 15 minutes FS on premises in semi-enclosed area visible to the bar.

They did have a little room on site. I had an 8 about 20 yrs old great bod. For about $30 plus $25 privado (room) I didn't ask about take out. I imagine that take out is very possible in light of the Real de Palma and Cancun Hotels near by as they are set up for adventure. I speak enough Spanish to get by so I don't have too many problems. It was like going into a kindergarden room with the little tables and chairs. There were some great looking girls to be had. I will go back this winter when it gets cooler. There is also a red-light dist in Merida I forgot to tell you about. $5 for a FS tell you what you might expect. But, I did have a 9 who was about 23 and paid $15 including room.

Great report. Like I said or warned, the Iguiana is an experience if nothing more. There are some nice looking girls there if one has the time to shop. Beside the Saharia, the other club I donlt know so that will be on my next trip.

There are several more clubs in town too. So. Did you hook up with a lovely seniorita?

Escondite is close to Iguana. Maybe about 5 minute walk toward Kanasin.

No, I didn't hook-up this time. I better study more Spanish so I can negotiate. There were only a couple girls that spoke a little English and I wasn't interested in them.

Did Iguana have rooms on-site or were the girls available for take-out?

Take a bus or taxi to Real de Palmas Motel in Kanasin. It's a sex hotel ( no girls, just a hotel set up for sex) . The motel itself is worth the experience. There are a couple clubs within walking distance what open late at night. But by all means, go to the Inguiana if you like adventure. There is another club I know is open in the afternoon but forgot the name. There are some others too. Merida has a club on Paseo Montego that opens late too. Merida is a well to do city, enjoy it!

I'm just back from Kanasin. I went to 3 clubs. Iguanas, Cabare El Gran Escondite, & Safari 2000 100%. I took the 5 peso bus from Centro Merida again and noticed that Iguanas & Escondite are right on the bus route on the main highway to Kanasin Central Park. I went to Iguanas first. It is a tiny place with only about 7 girls and not much of a stage or bar. I didn't stay long enough to get prices but it is a like a neighborhood bar that added 1 stripper pole & a tiny stage.

Escondite was next and IMHO, the best of the three places. There was a very helpful security man named Alberto who explained prices and what was on the "menu". He speaks English well because his wife is an English teacher. Drinks are 35 pesos. There are private dances for 100+ pesos available in 2 small rooms near the front. There are also private rooms in the back from 300+ pesos, more if you want a jacuzzi for a hour. The girls are about the same 300++ pesos for a hour FS. Inside the club there is a nice elevated stage with 4 stripper poles. The girls dance 3 songs but are only totally naked for about 15 seconds. It sucked! But after they dance, they are very friendly & you can buy them drinks from 60+ pesos.

Safari was the largest of the three & also the most expensive. Drinks are $40 pesos each with a 3 drink minumum. The waiters are pushy. I didn't like it at all as they rush you to drink more & fast. However, the girls here are the most attractive and probably the most expensive. Sorry, I didn't get prices. There is a hotel & 7-11 right next to this bar.

There is a Real de Palmas Hotel 10 minutes away from Centro Merida on the way to Cancun. There are 2 clubs walking distance from this hotel. D'Foxes (which was closed tonight 9/1/08, a Monday night) and Eve. A Taxi costs about 40 pesos from Centro Merida to this area. The other club is called Eve. I went there at about 11 PM and it was dead! There were about 6 girls, sitting & talking, and NO CUSTOMERS! I walked out. The hotel staff recommended D'Foxes so it should probably be good on another night. Good luck!

Merida is always hot in the summer. It does got over 105 degrees (heat index) most days. Be healthy and drink alot of water and eat right!

I'm just back from Kamasin. The bus from Centro Merida takes about 30 minutes to Kamasin and costs 5 pesos. From there you can take a motorcycle 3 wheel scooter to Iguana or Safari for about 10 pesos. All strip clubs are closed on Sunday! I found out the hard way. I'll try again tomorrow, my last day in Merida!

I'm in a hotel near Chichen Itza now. I plan to go to Merida tomorrow & Kanasin on Saturday or Sunday. It is very hot & humid now probably due to the hurricane that is nearby. About Inguiana, is there A/C? What is the best time to go? Is it a strip bar or a hooker bar? Is there a cover charge? Thanks in advance for any additional information!

Thanks so much for this info. I will be there in 1 week and probably stay 3-4 nights. Can you recommend any decent, girl-friendly hotels in the area? Besides Iguana, are there any other recommendations?

Live report! There are many strip clubs in PDC on the side streets. Downstairs and upstairs of buildings. Old and dirty, but clubs just the same. However these places don't have as many girls, yet they range from 6's tio 8's. But beware! I went with a Mexican friend and my Spanish is pretty good. The prices range from $200-$300 plus 20-25 for her drinks. The long and short of this report is that PDC is too costly for mongering. For the Yucantan the best deals are in Kanasin which is a suburb of Merida. Well worth the trip. I kick myself in the ass for not returning.

Fuddzie, do you have any specific info on Kanasin.

I will be in Merida in a couple months and would appreciate any info.
