Just wanted to post on update on Leon since I used some of Artisttyp's info while spending a few days there recently.

Hospedaje Roxy is pretty sleazy, like the sleaziest Tijuana short time motels in the Zona. Service starting at 100 p, up to 700 p for 30 min / servicio completo.

Flamingo's strip club wasn't terrible. Some decent looking chicks, I went there on a Thursday night about 11 and there were 16-18 girls and fewer clientes. Was quoted 2 k-2500 p for media hora with on site hotel (I forget how much for the rrrrooom). Got drunk, did not partake. Fichas 360 p (but the girl gets a full sized drink. They will also come and sit with you and talk for a few minutes, trying to sell their services, without having to buy them a drink. Waiters were actually pretty chill, not super pushy like HK.

By far my best hit was the casa de cita on Vicente Valtierra. Good lineup of 6-8 girls throughout the day including a few tight hotties. Service 600 p for 30 min, 800 for 40 min with BBBJ (includes their room). Just show up from 11 a-9 p and ring the doorbell.

Escort service was weak. 99.9% of ads are fake, some random gordita will show up after you call.

Anyone been there or know anything about the scene there? I gather it's a destination for the residents of CDMX. Clearly not so much for non-Mexicans. AirBnB prices are a lot better than the touristy parts of Mexico!

Thanks for your report. I was in Oaxaca last week but didn't not do any mongering and could not find your report on the forum so was not sure where to go. Turns out I was looking at the wrong 'other areas' location for Mexico and stumbled upon the Oaxaca section today.

I think the forum author, Tom Jackin, gave me a phone number for a taxi driver via a PM, and may call him for assistance but after reading the report, it appears that El Faraon may be my best bet and since it's the only one I want to visit (based on your description), I may just pick up a regular taxi off the street and try my luck.

I am currently at a Oaxacan beach village but flying back from Hualtuco on Friday morning so still time to check this El Faraon club out this weekend. Hope it's good enough to justify a report.

Incidentally, my colectivo did drive by the Hong Kong Club on way from the airport, which you noted in your extensive review. There was some sort of construction at the airport so we took a back way and ended up driving by this place and it did seem out of the way. From there, it must have taken another 1/2 hour to the center of town and my hotel.

To Conclude:

Leon is now specializing in Lamb Leather / Borrego. This thought to be a higher quality leather than cow. But 2 caveats.

1. Lamb leather is more delicate and prone to damage.

2. * Because of the light weight it is easy to be fooled by imitation skins. You have to really know your leathers or you will buy garbage.

3. Other than lamb you can find very little horse leather and even less res.

Was it worth a trip to go shopping for MEN in Leon? For ME totally becuase I know my leathers and I have the ability and desire to visit EVERY leathet store there is. And I did. As far as La Zona Piel GO DIRECTLY to a store called OLD WEST located down the street from the Holiday Inn. Best Quality. Also Plaza de Zapatos which is before in front of Holiday Inn. Otherwise don't waste your time running your feet down. The rest is garbage for guys. Handbag Heaven and Cheap Shoes from Hell for women but you need to be lacking knowledge to waste money on junk.

Even in Plaza Muzla I hardly saw any shoes durable and comfortable enough to walk hours like I do. Some nice dress shoes perhaps for the office but not much more.

If security lets me through with 3 hats I will take a picture at the gate. Otherwise I bid you farewell from Leon.

Big day today. I started walking at 9 am. It is now 6 pm.

Hit Centro Historico looking for the SG scene. It winds up Calle Madero is only a nightlife St. For bars and food.

Ilovetosploog was right. Someone turned me onto Hospedaje Roxy on Blvd Miguel Aleman why Nuevo Leon. Next door to the Ferreteria with green paint.

I saw one girl outide across the street. I went upstairs inside for more info. There was a line of guys just standing there. I asked " Hay fila? "They all laughed.

I was in Leon for 5 days recently primarily to do some leather shopping. I spent hours upon hours scouting out stores and merchandise. At the same time I kept my eyes and ears open for PFP. I did not partake since I was in Tijuana for several days prior to Leon and on the way back as well. I had more than I needed before I arrived. However I do have some pertinent information and pictures to share.

Also if members don't mind I would like to share my leather finds with others. One cannot visit Leon (The Shoe Capital) without looking for or buying something made from leather. These reports show photos and pricing as well as samples of the better looking products.

At first glance Zona Piel could be Chinatown. Anywhere. Cheap quality shit all over the place. I was really disappointed for awhile until I found a few gems. Crap like you see in Tijuana but with Wrangler Western Wear worked in. Shitkicker boots in exotic skins for $125 or so but lacks walkability IMHO. I could walk maybe 1 block in those before I give up.

Otherwise I hit payday later on in Plaza de Zapatos.

I left the hotel with very little money on purpose just to browse and take photos. I purchased one hat.

Forgot to mention. Jacket quality looks horrible. I am a leather jacket fiend but have not been tempted to buy anything. Leather quality subpar for jackets eventhough you can take an open flame to the skin without burn. Lots of chinese shit leather and horse. Tijuana far exceeds quality in terms of thickness.

Some lamb skins available but not as nice as in Argentina.

Tijuana stores buy leather in LA which comes from New Zealand, Italy, Spain, Argentina.

Its online presence promises to be open at 2 pm but it didn't open until 7 pm and is undoubtedly a late night venue for locals. I only had time for a warm hug with the barmaid just as it opened and regret that I couldn't partake of the promised privado. When I return to Puebla I will post a review. La Cueva del Abuelo on Hermanos Serdan, just north of 15 de Mayo. I hope better and less expensive than rip-off strip clubs but perhaps just wishful thinking.

I've never been, had some days off, and the airfare was favorable.

First off, I want to thank Artisttyp and others on this site for help making this a successful trip.

Secondly, I read over and over that Oaxaca was not a mongering city. I completely disagree with that and my trip report will cover that point.

Flight:

I flew Aeromexico for the second time out of Tijuana. You can get a round trip coach ticket for around 8000 pesos. I used the CBX from Otay to the Tijuana airport and back for the fourth time; highly recommend CBX. CBX round trip was 30 bucks.

Great report Tom. It helped me with my trip. However, nobody knew where El Faraon was. I also found little to no info online. I am still curious to where it is.

The strip clubs all get going slow until late hours.

I always found a couple daytime delights near Hotel Somega on Zaragoza for prices starting at 400 pesos.

I think this is important guide for Puebla.

The scene is limited, but it is alive and well, I believe. I went here with a mindset of, taking one for the team.

Had a night to kill so I hit up a contact I gathered on one of the various sites. I don't remember which, but I have the contact available for subscribers and senior members only. Message me anytime.

Whatsapp the contact at 7 pm on 11/24 Sat. This is late considering, I was in centro, and it seems they are on the outskirt, and they like to have their last appt at 8 pm. They do start earlier, so for those who enjoys morning sessions, I think Puebla might be a good place to start your day.
