Believe me, if I could get out of going to Hong Kong, I would, but the hotel and airline are throwing up roadblock after roadblock when it comes to refunds or even working with me for credit. But, If you are going to HKG for primarily mongering purposes, ie recreational reasons, then I strongly advise you to reconsider. 1st, now is not the time to visit. And 2nd, even if a crackdown was not imminent, HKG sucks as mongering destination and has for some time. In fact it is one of my least favorite girly destinations in all of Asia. Macau, on the other hand, is great, albeit expensive and both MNL & BKK are much more entertaining and fun alternatives than HKG. The last time I was in HKG, approximately 10 months ago, I could not believe how bad the girly situation had become there. I checked out the most popular bars in Wan Chai and all the girls except maybe 1 or 2 were undoable, fat, old, and fugly! Don't go! But if you do go, don't say you were not warned.

If it's that bad you can go straight to Macau from HK airport. Direct via ferry or take a bus to the bridge and then another bus to Macau.

What I seek when it comes to the saunas are all the little things that just don't happen in the States. The lounge idea with food and drink while you're getting a handy is what appeals to me the most.

In that case you need a sauna where the thigh massage is done in the lounge. Saunas probably won't let you take food into the rooms. Golden sauna won't even let you take drinks to the rooms.

If a BBBJCIM isn't Earth shattering expensive, then great.

I don't know if that's possible in a sauna. Maybe the service oriented girls from Vietnam or Thailand or south China. You might have to sneak some extra cash in. Or make arrangements for a private visit in your hotel. Or see my tip below.

A HJ to completion in a sauna seems to require at least 3 thigh massages possibly plus an extra fine. This makes it at least as expensive as FS. The massage girls are not supposed to finish you. If you read back through the forum you will see it can be done. But again you probably need to sneak cash into the room.

If these are your sauna goals I fear you will be disappointed.

Now that you will enjoy and should be the main aim of your sauna visits. Family Nobre and Golden are probably your best choices. They have the best washing areas in the service rooms. A Viet or south China girl is probably the best choice. You can ask for the whole session to be in the shower room. Probably no point having multiple girls at once because probably only one will wash you. You can try the assisted wash in the changing room too. If you want to show off a bit then Golden sauna washing is more public.

If you like the idea of a sexy wash then try K Pressure in HK. They tend to be women rather than girls. There's also Akane in Bangkok. It's probably your perfect place because it's mostly washing and no FS. I had a duo and it's the cleanest I've ever felt. So if you can't go to HK and Macau try BKK.

Back to your BBBJCIM Macau fantasy. There was an Indonesian at Hou Va who did just that. I didn't ask for it. Fulfilled a fantasy I didn't even know I had. As I was obviously about to finish she whipped the condom off and dived on me mouth first. She held me in her mouth until I stopped then held it there some more just to make sure. Context: I went to my first trip to Macau last year, hearing of the famous saunas, which supposedly offer the best of all of East Asia. I enjoyed it a lot and plan to go again soon. I'm a younger ABC (American-Born Chinese), and I'm going to write some of my reviews in the following posts.

I felt I should post why I didn't like Rio. It's just my one and only experience.

Many reasons.

I'm told the owner is the same as Emperor. Emperor I'm told was the first sex sauna so the design was mainly several areas. One for washing and one for lounging. The sex takes places in hotel bedrooms. The shows were probably an afterthought so they take place in the washing area. When a show takes places girls with bells walk through the lounge and disturb you. You have to get up and go to the washing area where a line up takes place.

Rio has the same set up and came later. So much for evolution. The first problem is that the disco lights which make it difficult see properly. The girls walk around but their number badges are on the opposite side to where you stand. So it's really hard to see them. There are so many girls that they have to walk quickly which makes it even more harder to see the number. And then the flashing lights make it nearly impossible if you don't have excellent night vision. Also the managers who take your order will probably ask the Asian men first so you get left out. There's no shortage of girls but you bet the one you really wanted has been picked already.

At the end of the parade I found myself standing near a tall Chinese model who I thought was very beautiful. I thought I would take her. I smiled and waved at her. She looked at me icily and turned away. Ouch. I suppose that's how the girls feel all the time when a customer chooses someone else.

I picked another girl. She was still pretty. She was nice but she had a bad cold. I've since learnt that in some parts of Asia it is rude to blow your nose. The correct procedure is to constantly sniff the green goo from nostril to nostril preferably so loudly they can hear you next door. It's important for everyone in a mile radius to know you are being polite and not blowing your nose. There's no way she should have been at work.

As I said in a previous post the shower bed has jacuzzi nozzles. The stupid head who designed it has obviously never lay on one. It's torture. When he dies and surely goes to hell I hope he is made to lay on one of his creations for all eternity. Preferably with a big fatty sitting on top of him.

But my main reason for hating Rio was the first part of the show. There were like a 100 girls in a line up and maybe 50 guys. So that's quite an audience. Two girls were forced to do a striptease. One was clearly terrified. It wasn't sexy like in movies. It was shameful. When the stripping was over the manager refused to give the girl her clothes back or a towel to punish her for not doing a good striptease. It was degrading. It's just my opinion. Don't bother telling me if you disagree. But for that reason alone I wouldn't give my custom to Rio again.

I've been giving it some thought over the last few hours.

It's best not to overthink and overplan your trip. You've done some research so pick a sauna and go through the process. Post a report here. Then rinse and repeat.

If you're really shy start with the Beverly Plaza Hotel. If you're slightly shy try the Emperor first. If you're modest then try Family Nobre. If you're a little excited then maybe Rio although I hate the place for reasons I might put in another post. If you're excited then try East. If you're really excited go to Golden. If you're nuts go to 18. If you're adventurous try a sauna not normally listed here. Definitely post a report.

Beverly Plaza hotel has male helpers but they leave you alone to get changed and there are no service girls in the lounge. You have to go up another floor for that when you're ready. Walk in off the street go straight over to the elevators. I can't remember the floor. I think 2 is the main spa entrance called Millionaire Club and 3 is the floor for going straight to the knocking shop. If you take a suitcase with you then the spa main desk might try to redirect you to the main lobby. Just say you want the spa. If you want to stay in the spa overnight you need to have had a Shanghai style massage or a sex massage to qualify for a room. You will need ear plugs but will have to take your own. So try to acquire some from your long haul flight.

Emperor has modest size line ups in a room that's not the main lounge. I don't remember if the changing room helpers are male.

Nobre has shows only for a few VIPs at a time. The line-up is in a corridor. The changing room helpers are male.

East has female changing room staff. I tried to get one to ogle me once but she refused.

I can't remember if Golden's changing room helpers are male. The main attraction with Golden is that the Vietnamese and cheaper Chinese service girls constantly prowl the lounge looking for trade. The shows were also frequent Thursdays thru Saturdays. Sometimes they did a bonus length show where the blowjob finale was long enough for some of the Asians to CIM. I don't know if long shows still happen.

I forgot to put in my other report that the washing facilities in the service rooms vary wildly. Beverly is just a normal shower and a tiny bed. East is just a shower in a bath so hope you are mobile enough. It's a big bed. You might even get a round bed. I can't remember Emperor facilities but I was told it was the first one in Macau so it's probably just a normal hotel bedroom. Nobre and East have special big shower area beds. You'll see when you try. The Rio room I had was a jacuzzi bed. Lying on the nozzles was fucking agony. It's how I imagine lying on a bed of nails is like. It was even worse when the girl got on top. Golden has a shower bed like a gym bench.

I also forgot to say in my other report that although it costs about a million dollars for an hour session in a Macau sauna, that's a Macau hour which goes quicker. Little of that time is spent playing sink the alligator in the swamp. Most of the time is the girl getting her kit, arranging the bed towels, arranging the kit, rearranging the kit, showering you, showering herself. If she's Chinese especially model category then she'll spend time complaining you are too big and trying to find a condom to fit. A lot of time can be given over to her showering you. It depends on the sauna's setup. At Nobre it's quite a long time and Golden it's most of the time. I enjoy this part if the girl knows what she's doing. I love it if she really knows what she's doing.

If you have multiple girls at once then probably only one will shower you while the rest have a sly smoke. The one who washes you will be the one you fancy the least. Them's the rules.

If you do the AV package at East then a lot of time goes on various types of blow job. It's worth doing once.

In my experience Vietnamese girls are way better at the washing part. Some have it to an art form. There was one I nearly stayed the whole time in the shower with. It wasn't conventional sex but it was sexcellent.

Ah ok. You should have admitted it.

If you want the short version of my advice:

1 if you're going to do it accept that it's EXPENSIVE. You can't do it on a small budget and if you try you will not enjoy it and will have wasted your money. You can do cheaper incall in Macau with Darling 1 and 2, Houva, Viet massage shops, and some pensions I think they are called. I don't know where the massage shops are or exactly what the pensions are, if that's even the right name. I read it somewhere probably here because some members contribute good quality intel.

2 Do your research for which saunas you might visit and how to get there. Buy a small waterproof pouch that you can keep your valuables in while showering. Maybe get something that allows you to conceal cash in the pouch too so you can buy some off the menu extras. You can take your own condoms in this way. But maybe the lady will insist on using her own.

3 go visit several saunas: try Beverly because it's more relaxing, try Nobre because it's a bit cheaper, try Rio for the large line up, try East for the AV session, try Golden for the interactivity with the service girls who stay in the lounge then try some other saunas not normally reported here.

4 now that you're a veteran sauna man, write some reports to help other newbies especially about saunas not normally listed.

I'm told by a non-service Indonesian woman at Emperor that either Boss or Big Boss is terrible. They are two different saunas but the names make them hard to distinguish.

Brace yourself, long version is starting.

the issue is much of it is either outdated or conflicting.

I haven't been for a few years now so I don't have fresh info. Before my last trip there was a crackdown, the Lisboa Racetrack was closed, freelancers were removed from casinos and saunas asked for cash not credit card. Also Family Nobre no longer did line ups in the lounge. You have to get up and walk down a corridor. But they did do shows for VIP members.

But when I went back a year later saunas were taking credit card payments again. I didn't notice any freelancers in casinos but I don't spend much time there. But they were probably back. The racetrack was still closed. You can relive the glory days with online videos.

I don't think any saunas have closed. Maybe some have renamed.

The "sauna" concept is not something that exists in the USA and doesn't seem to exist in many Asian countries at all, that's why this has me curious for details.

There are detailed reports on the internet if you look. You probably have but haven't admitted it.

Do your research for which saunas you might visit and how to get there. Streetview or the Chinese QQ version are your friends. Buy a small waterproof pouch that you can keep your valuables in while showering. Maybe get something that allows you to conceal cash in the pouch too so you can buy some off the menu extras. You can take your own condoms but the lady might insist on using hers.

The main things to remember are:

Everyone from the obligatory middle aged women hanging out outside the front door to the obligatory middle aged women on the payment desk to the waitresses knows why you are there.

Don't be tempted by the onslaught of massage offers you get in the lounge unless you really want them.

Learn how to take advantage of the show times to get a better seat in the lounge or to get a better line up of service girls.

A basic walkthrough:

1 arrive trying not to look too embarrassed having had to fight your way through a crowd of middle aged women lurking outside the door for no obvious reason. The Houva you are so interested in isn't a sauna and so desn't have the middle aged women outside. But it is opposite a school so if you feel shy then don't go at school closing time because you'll have to fight your through a school of spotty unshowered teenage boys.

2 go the payment desk and hand over VIP number or optionally join as VIP. Ask about VIP costs and benefits and make your own mind up if it's worth it.

3 you'll be given a locker key with a number. Don't lose the key as the number is your new name. Go to changing area, find your locker, put your stuff in the locker and change into a towel and flip flops. Some saunas have men usually from Vietnam to help you some have women usually from Indonesia or Philippines. You might be able to make private arrangements to meet them but expect to pay close to sauna shag prices because the staff know the prices you are obviously willing to pay.

4 waddle to the showers in your towel and get clean. Some saunas like Golden and Family Nobre have bikini women who will help you for a fee added to your final bill. It's worth doing your first time just for the experience but what experience you will get depends. At Golden you sit on a stool and get a hand job in front of all the bikini women who want to watch and giggle. Great if you're an exhibitionist. At Nobre you get a body wash on a table in a private room with the door open.

4-a as well as showering you can also brush your teeth and shave.

5 waddle to the second changing area where more bikini women will help you change for a tip added to your final bill. You don't have to tip at all but they will make you feel guilty and suggest quite a big tip. They will give you new flip flops just as uncomfortable and ill fitting as the first pair. You will also get a pair of stupid shorts with no fly and an ugly robe. This is the customers uniform and although the style was out of date in the 70's already you should wear it with pride. Shorts come in two sizes, too big and too small.

6 waddle into the lounge and be directed to a seat.

7 spend 10 minutes trying to understand a nonsense menu written in Engrish and fending off constant attacks from massage women and some male staff.

8 these massage women and maybe some male staff will be offering various things. The men tend to offer nail cutting and foot massage and maybe hair cutting. Each women tends to do only one of ear cleaning, neck massage, shoulder massage, leg massage or thigh massage. Thigh massage is code for a halfway hand job. Sometimes this is in the main lounge sometimes in a private room. If you sneak some cash in you might be able to get some full extras. But this is going to risky for the woman and expensive for you. As with the changing room staff the massage women know the price of a sauna shag.

9 before agreeing to any massage of any type talk to a manager (they usually wear jackets) to see what's what. Some saunas like East give you a free massage after you have had a sex session but that might not be for every session. The rules such as they are fast and lose. I am told this especially true for 18 Sauna at the Golden Dragon where all staff are "on the take" if that's the right phrase. I'm told that all staff is asking for cash on the side. I am told that if you go with cash in hand and the right attitude this can be entertaining in its own way.

10 the menus at all saunas are confusing at first. They refer to things like "Korean style" and "Shanghai style". The price is the clue. Shanghai style is a regular massage done in the Chinese style which is basically a military attack on your body. If you want to know what it's like to be beaten up by a middle aged Asian women using only her hard as nails fingers then this is your once in a lifetime experience. The other styles of massage are the horizontal jogging sort and the style refers to the nationality of the girl. I'll put a bit more about this later.

11 there is food and drink on the menu. If no price is shown then there is no extra charge. If a price is shown this is an extra added to your final bill. The choice of food differs a lot between saunas. The quality ranges from ok to poor. Don't go to one of Macau's Michelin star restaurants first because the come down will be just too much.

12 some saunas like Beverly have no shows. These lounges are the best for relaxing.

13 older saunas like Emperor and Rio (I'm told same owner and Emperor was the first in Macau) have shows in another room and you have to surrender your lounge seat to go and see. If you don't choose a service girl after the show you can go back to the lounge but you might not get any seat if it's busy. You can use this to your advantage if you couldn't get a seat before a show. Either ignore the show or leave as soon as it is finished.

14 newer saunas like East and Golden have the show in the main lounge but only for those who already have seats. Shows might only be on busy nights to Thursday thru Saturday and from maybe 9 pm until maybe 1 am. I think it depends how many big spenders are in residence.

15 some saunas like Nobre only have shows for VIP members.

16 you can read and watch examples of shows on the internet.

17 you can pick a girl after a show but the competition from other customers is fierce. Think desperate cattle market. If you can't shout numbers in Chinese then you're going to be the last guy to be asked.

18 you can ask for a girl line up at any time. For half an hour to an hour after a big show the line up will be reduced. Between 2 am and either noon or 6 pm the line up will be small maybe as small as just 2 girls.

At saunas you have to expect a certain amount of what I consider cultural racism. Priority will be given to wealthy Chinese customer then wealthy customers from other places in Asia. However some of the managers especially the Indonesian and Burmese ones can be very friendly towards westerners. Like all businesses worldwide some managers are crap while others are really crap but some actually understand customer service.

The other cultural racism thing you will encounter is the pricing. Vietnamese girls are the cheapest but in a sauna nothing is that cheap except maybe an overnight stay instead of paying for a hotel. The price of a Shanghai attack massage usually gets you a free or heavily discounted stay overnight in a private room. This is often a similar price to a 3 or 4 star hotel but with worse facilities. For even less money you can try the sauna's dormitory. Fucking good luck getting any sleep in there.

The Vietnamese are considered by the Chinese as not very physically attractive. Personally I think the Vietnamese are sexy. But one hot as hell older Indonesian pro told me you have to be wary of the Vietnamese because.

I have usually found the Vietnamese to be very attentive but I had some er disappointments with some at Nobre. But the first one I had there was awesome.

The southern Chinese are the second cheapest because they are shorter and darker skinned. This is less attractive to the Chinese but I like the look.

The northern Chinese are taller and paler and more expensive. They can be very pretty but it depends on what you like. Some of the ones I've seen marketed as Mongolian looked more like Mongolian warriors. But some where beautifully feminine.

At the top end are the Koreans and Japanese. One Korean guy in East told me they are definitely not Korean girls but Chinese who look a bit Korean to the untrained eye. If you are doing a nationality bucket list then try Korea or Japan for the authentic product. If all you care about are looks then these ladies are definitely beautiful. But whether they are a $1000 beautiful is your decision. If you got for one, forget the cost and dive into the experience. If your mind is on the money you won't get your moneys worth.

There might also be a few girls marked as Malaysians or Singaporean. And there may be some exotic imports. There are reports of Nobre having a Ukranian. I once had a Jamaican at Nobre. I could tell by the accent that she wasn't. She might have been Dominican or maybe a black South American. She didn't sound African. She wasn't very good at the business but she did have beautiful skin. Golden had a black Brazilian with very long very permed bleached blond hair.

The best two tips I can give you are 1 forget the money and 2 be clean. The service girls really appreciate a really clean guy with fresh breath. I stayed in the hotel at Rio, which had everything to do with its famous sauna. The hotel is actually quite good and the best cheap, decent-quality option in the area. Amusingly it's located right next to the PLA military base skyscraper; wonder if the sauna has anything to do with that.

I greatly appreciate the map suggestion and that does help immensely. In terms of RTFF and research, I've done more than I care to admit, the issue is much of it is either outdated or conflicting.
