Rio Room Service

East Castle

I went to East Castle pretty late in the night. I kind of wanted to sleep but decided that I needed to have some sex first, haha.

Darling 2

I spent the next day touring all over Macau. I'd put together a very long list of places (way too long, in hindsight) to visit from Lonely Planet. I got through around half of them and plan to hit the other half next time in Macau.

No, the intention of the trip is not purely for mongering.

You seem to have a pretty good handle on the situation. I hope you have a safe journey. I would still advise you to arrange your itinerary so as to spend as little time in HKG as necessary.

Note: Macau is best on weeknights Sunday night to Thursday night. The crowds descend on Macau on the weekends driving hotel prices through the roof and crowding up everything including the saunas. Rio Sauna is very enjoyable on weeknights, for example, with plenty of time during the lineup (Showtime) to select the girl you want. I have never experienced racial preferences or prejudices on the part of the managers (hosts) or the girls when I have been there.

IMHO Rio has the best lineup followed up closely by Familia Nobre. Darling 1 also has a few possibilities, but Darling 1 is not a sauna. It is like a BKK Soapy. Excellent Sauna in the Emperor Grand Hotel is a small, but 1st class joint. Victoria Sauna & Club 9 both in the L'Arc Hotel (separate entrances) are very high class and worth checking out. Emperor Sauna in the Emperor Hotel & The One the Landmark Hotel both get very good ISG reviews from time to time. I have never been there. And lastly East Spa in the Waldo Hotel and East Castle Spa round out the list of high class Macau bordellos. I used to frequent East Spa a lot when I first started visiting Macau, I had a lot of good times there, but I kept finding better looking girls in Rio and Familia Nobre, so I stopped my visits to East and have not been there in a few years.

Familia Nobre

The next night I went to Familia Nobre, the second famous Macau sauna.

Before going inside the sauna I took a look at some of the pictures. The male attendant didn't like that and hurried me along.

The sauna was very nicely empty and quiet when I arrived, after changing. I ordered the cheapest food in the menu and ate some small okayish portions. In hindsight I should have ordered something better and more expensive.

Wow, how do you get lucky to spend almost two weeks in Macau, I've been to Macau three times prior, the longest being 11 days.

November will be my next trip but only for 5 solid days, leave from USA on a Thursday and arrive Macau on a Saturday, then leave on a Thursday. Enjoy reading the reviews, I know of all or most of the places mentioned in this Forum but somehow I've found other places and never partaked at Rio, 18 Sauna, Emperor, Familia Nobre.

There is a place called Sauna One in the Grand Emperor hotel that seemed to be high end or pricey and pretty good quality there, but didn't partake, haven't heard a lot of reviews on Sauna One here.

Have been to Darling 1 and tried Houva, Golden Sauna, Beverly, and Big Boss. Then there's my budget go to sauna Holiday Spa.

Well I do have PTO and am using up a lot of it for this trip. This is my first vacation this year, sadly. Originally I intended to go in September but we have a project deadline due October 1st.

I wanted to thank everyone for their time and advice the past couple of days about Macau. I hope that others will be able to use the info as well. I've decided to cancel the Hong Kong portion of the trip. I don't see the situation in HK getting better in any reasonable period of time and for my own peace of mind, I changed my plans.

I haven't been to this sauna. There are two Holiday Inns but the one in question is on Rua de Pequim. So NOT the one on Cotai. The spa doesn't seem to be part of the hotel but I don't know for sure.

I'm going to say tanks rolling in from Mainland China. Have you not been watching the news? It's much more than just "protests" While no one has died thankfully, if tanks roll in, I expect that to sadly change.

What's the worst that can happen in HK? Those protest are just protest I would go to the building were girls are waiting behind the door, Fiji building I believe saw hot girls from videos of those kind of buildings around Hong Kong.

I did some research for "Holiday Spa" and couldn't come up with anything solid. Is it located on the premises of a Holiday Inn hotel? If so, it appears there's two in Macau.

a place called Holiday Spa which is located near Holiday Inn Macau. It is located along a foot traffic only lane. Proceeded upstairs and did the usual undressing and showering.
