I am sorry to pop up again with my questions but with a reference tom Osuul's reply (which is very useful and for which I am thankful) I wonder what are the typical basic "rules" in establishments like Darling 1, Rio etc? I mean is there a certain standard of what you may expect from the girl or is it up to each individual one what services they provide? RIO: if you book a soapie the manager taking you to the room will explain you what you booked, how much and that you are entitled to "one time make love", ie one pop.

This does not necessarily mean you might have two times if the girl likes you. But you can't claim for more according to what the papa-san will tell you

Generaly saunas are 1 pop, darling 2 is 2 I think. And there is a cheap one near the royal hotel that is more a brothel then a sauna at 600 hk for 2 pos in 80 mins.

Anyway, you need to skip the massage part to be able to pop 2 times. Some guys reported to have come during the massage and later on the bed but you can't count on it.

Well macao is booked out allmost every weekend. I had to sleep in a sauna once because I went there one time without booking a hotel. Went to like 8 hotels all booked out. The room in the sauna was ok too.

BTW don't go to saunas too early, there is only a skeleton crew until it gets dark outside.

During daytime I would recomment darling 1 or 2. Fast and easy to go in and check if they have something for your taste.

It is a great pleasure to read the reports and gain some knowledge. So thank you all. However I am planning a very shord (just 1 night) stay in Macau on may way from Mainland China to Bangkok (I have some experience in the latter).

Could someone advice me what are the "best" places Saunas to go in Macau? Obviously I won't have time to explore more than 2 or 3 and I am after hot slim girls (preferrably Vietnamese) and I love to have a choice. I have absolutely no knowledge of the place, prices or how it all works because I have never done it in MC. I would appreciate if someone with knoledge would drop a line or two and perhaps link me to some reports.

I brought a friend to darling 1. It was fun seeing his jaw drop down when we entered. There is about 40. 60 girls waiting in a half circle. You sit down in the middle and make your selection. In the room its buddle bath with the girl and the deed. About 20 vietnamese there. The later the bigger the selection. In the evening they have a modle category that is like 200 or 300 HK$ more then the others. Most saunas have that. But models are supposed to give bad service (also my experiance).

Rio has the best facilities in my opinion and from my point of few the best looking girls. No or almost no viets there though. And the waterbed massage thing is something no other sauna has. Problem is that this place is expensive.

FM, has a realy nice showtime and a big selection of girls. Including 8. 14 viets and the price is ok.

Some alternatives:

Darling 2 : Its smaller then Darling 2. But almost all girls are viets and its only 1100 for 90 mins instead of 1600 for 60 minutes at darling 1.

18 Sauna instead of RIO. I think this sauna has the most girls. Something like 100 at peak times. Price is also same as Rio. Evenings its very crowed and sometimes its 60 girls vs. 50 men. IF your don't pick a girl fast. She is gone.

One time it was so full there were no sofas in the resting room left.

Sanado, est spa and golden sauna also have showtimes line familia noble don't imo not as good.

If you want to go real cheap there is also places for 600 HK$ for 80 minutes. But these places are usually no real saunas.

I will be in Hong Kong from 4. 2 to 7. 2 and will visit Macau saunas one day. It is hard for me to believe that all the Chinese girls would disappear from saunas during this festival time but we'll see. If so, hopefully there will be plenty of Vietnamese + other girls for replacement of the Chinese then. I don't care where the girls come from as long as I can find a nice one.

Bad timing, the hotel prices will be 4 to 5 times as much. I always avoided this time. My guess would be all Chinese girls will be going home and a lot of tourists will fight for the rest. The fireworks should be great though.

On the hotel scene; I booked my hotel very early, so I got a great rate. No problem there. My concern was how full the saunas are going to be. I like Macau during the weekdays when you have lots of room to move around and receive a lot of personal attention. I prefer to leave Macau on Fridays before the weekend rush. I screwed up this time because I did not consider CNY. I won't do that next time. Live and learn.

I remain guardedly optimistic that I will still have a great time regardless. I think I will go early to the Saunas to compensate and hit the bars later in the evening. Also, I am returning to Macau at the end of my South East Asian trip for 4 more days of fun in late March. So I am guaranteed of a great 2011 Macau experience one way or another. I will report back for sure.

My understandingis that there is also a vietnamese festivity (probably equal to CNY) in Vietnam.

So do not underestimate the rush out from those girls too.

Thanks for your comments Bionicman. Well the only way to find out what is happening in Macau during CNY is to go there and see, and that's what I am going to do. The best saunas are 18 and Rio, but are the most expensive. But for me the best is sanadu.

Rio and 18 are the biggest and the place have more quality. Rio is the best if you looking for quality. 18 is big like Rio and you can see all the show times, in Rio show times are in a private room that you can go every time you likes. Two have the same propety.

But for me sanadu is the best for all the service that they offer, and less expensive. Sanadu showers are with girl for free, in show time the girls just sit with you and try to make you horny. Well the experience in sanadu for me are the best.

I am in Macau right now, I try 18 first day, Rio second day, sanadu 3rd day. Today I repeat sanadu.

I suggest you that try at least 2 saunas, and you can decide for yourself. But don't worry any sauna is a great experience.
