This was my first time to a Macua Sauna. It was a toss up between 18 and Sanado. I decided on the latter since it sounded a bit more off bit.

Bought a full package voucher at HK$1568 at one of the travel agencies on the third floor of the Macau terminal in Hong Kong. They were not very clear on what was included besides the return ride to Macau and an hour with the girl of your choice.

Arrived in Macau at 5 pm and decided to do some sight seeing first. I could have took a taxi from the boat terminal into town or paid $3.20 (exact change) by number 3 bus and a guy told me I could just take one of the many complementary casino shuttles instead. This was what I did (to Hotel/Casino Lisboa).

After 2 hours of wandering around, I headed for Sanado Sauna. Based on the so call map (really a very simplistic block diagram) on the voucher, showing Sanado was right behind Lisboa Hotel across Peking Street, I got completely lost. After asking many (very helpful) policemen/women in the neighbourhood, I finally found the place.

Thursday evening. 8 pm.

Once I got inside, I was not exactly formally met and explained what I was doing to get for my voucher. Then a not very interesting looking maid took me to my locker. After locking up all my stuff, given a wrist band with my number, I was taken to the shower area where I was met by a bunch of giggling girls in their uniform - tight little jacket showing plenty of cleaverage, bare midriff, very small short skirt and high heels - all in bright yellow accented by black checkers, which, in my opinion was more funky than sexy. Oh, they also had this stupid little "taxi" cap on their head.

There was some confusion as to what was going to happen as in whether I was supposed to pick a girl to come into the shower with me or what. There were 5 or 6 massage women (in their late 20, early 30 ?) around the lounge. They were in uniforms that were not sexy or revealing. They were not pushy in offering their services.

Show time. All the 20 or so girls that were available changed from their yellowish uniform to some odd outfit. Very short skirts. No panties. Their tits covered by a piece of cloth that was not tied to the side or back so one could see them from the side. Useful to guess their real size and shape. The girls paraded in front of us in the lounge. Then a girl was situated with each guy (we all had a towel covering our shorts) and lied on top of us giving us a body massage. 30 seconds latter, the girls rotated around clockwise to the next guy and sat on top of us cow girls like, pulling our hands to their tits and let us groped them. In conclusion, I would rate the service in this place an A. The quality of the set up will probably be a C as in it is OK but not really that fancy. Food is decent but they should offer free beer. As to the girls, I think they are great if you like them young with small perfect body. But not my taste. It will be good if they can add some plumper offerings to the mix. I was told I could sleep over in the sauna overnight instead of getting a hotel room. However given the small size of the lounge, that would probably be challenging.

All said and done, interesting experience but will not likely to return (again, because of my taste rather than any fault of the establishment). Probably would have done better with the apparently much larger selection of girls at 18 for my first outting.

Stayed a night in the Rio. My thoughts:

Hotel room (most basic one) is pretty good, very spacious.

Spent 5 hours in the Sauna. For the most part impressive. The first 'wet' part is very good. Showers, pools and saunas excellent. There are a number of viet/indo girls here who will wash you up here but didn't partake.

Through to the dry part, had a manicure and pedicure, very well done. For reference the thigh massages are listed in the book as 'leg vein reflexology', you have to laugh.

I had two of those, the second one to completion (after I had been upstairs). They don't spend too much time on the thighs. Both times they wanted to meet me outside after work. Go figure.

Took in the show at around 9. 30pm. I'd say around 50 girls were paraded, they couldn't all fit in the room at the perimeter.

Thoughts. A lot of attractive women, but depending on your tastes it may be a bit much. A lot of the Chinese 'star' girls are too made up, have too obvious implants or have their hair too japan-ified. 3 Europeans (Russian?). Either way imo dog ugly.

First, thanks to everyone here for the info on this place. Without it, I wouldn’t have been able to find the location, nor understand the routine. Neither of which is easy.

Went there last night about 8:00pm. On the fast ferry from HK. Got a taxi at the Macau Ferry Terminal but the guy had never heard of Sanado Sauna. So I told him to drop me at the Holiday Inn. Cost was about $15 local money.

I then wandered around for quite a while looking for the place. It’s a warren of streets, mostly with no names. I did spot Golden Sauna and Windsor Sauna, but I finally had to ask a cop or security guy standing on the road where to find it. Even then the sign is hard to read except from across the street. I had walked past the man at the door once or twice already. He wasn’t doing a good job of inviting single male customers into the joint.

But once inside, as has been said here, the management is friendly and welcoming. I was asked to sit in the reception area. A female manager with minimum English came and sat next to me with the shopping list. Again, thanks to the Forum I had some idea what was on offer, but the print was tiny, and the options bewildering, I finally pointed to the price I was prepared to pay, paid it, and went in.

The place is clean and efficient. A girl helped me totally undress (love that part) and stow my clothes in a locker. She gave me a key for my wrist, and showed me that the locker needed two keys to open – mine and hers – so there is a sense of security about your belongings.

I was given a wrap-around towel, and taken to the shower area. Unfortunately, as I later realized, I had arrived just as a show was starting in the main lounge, so all the girls had gone there. About an hour after I arrived the next show began. It was as described here. The travel agent packages you can buy in HK are an option (for a basic service with good price) but not a must.

Jsut walk in, enjoy and then pay when exiting.

Every service you take is recorded in your account jsut like in an hotel.

Goto any Sauna, they will let you overnight to 10-11am no problem.

I wouldnt necessarily go to the expensive ones however its your choice. The sauna at Old Lisboa will let you sleep over night there too but only on those couches. $438 which inc a Shanghai massagi and all facilities. HJ extra, FS really extra....lol

In order to sleep over there is some minimum package you have to buy. In Shenzhen you have to get 3 hour massage in order to sleep over.

Never went to sauna places in Macau so I do not know what the requirement is. Although I have used race track girls and other freelancers.
