Have not been to 18 in a while, but last time I was there (I think it may have been in February) was offered a beer by a "waiter" dude, but at that time it did cost and came with a "beer girl" who would hang out in your chair while you would drink the beer. Dont remember the cost, think it was something like HKD 200 (including a girl for I guess 10-20 minutes).

The guy was really pitching for the whole beer and a girl thing at the time, got to be pretty annoying towards the end since we were not interested.

This may have been a trial thing (the beer + "beer girl") they were doing at the time since in previous visits before I never witnessed it.

btw: they were offering Heineken at this time I was there :-)

Was denied beers in Rio and after a couple of visits in 18 I thought it worked the same way, especially that the owner is supposedly the same person. Of those 3 saunas, East Spa would be the place with a very distinct feeling, not 18 - which I hence have visited more often,

As of the 2 girls beeing taken away in The Venetian I also considered they might have caused troubles, but it might as well come from some hotel policy. On my last visit a girl I have been with a few times was inside during daytime. I met her again late at night on the street between The Venetian and City of Dreams where lots of SW are hanging out around that time and it seemed she couldn't enter either. Considering the very few girls present inside The Venetian at that time compared to the many more earlier in the evening, it might come with some special late night policy ??

Dunno but definetely not cool to come in with two girls and see them beeing taken away. One of the girls than showed up at my room at 9.30 in the morning, I guess after the security changed shift - but that was quite a bit late for me welcoming her.

As of the MGM, considering internet is free as well as a lot of drinks in the minibar, the Grand Suite comes at about the same price as the Rialto suite in The Venetian (but with a prepaid booking in MGM), will definetely consider staying here again in the future.

Man, this barring freelance girls from casinos puts whole night life in macau a bit down...just sheer watching freelance girls makes life come alive...I suspect that some of the folks who own saunas would have hand in it as everything seems to be very controlled in Macau....they wouldn't want their clients going away before entering the saunas..

Its a crazy theory....just looking for someone to blame hehehe ..Macau is a big place with many casinos...its just a matter of time..when a venue opens up becoming a hot spot for pick and meet freelancers.

Looking at the previous posts more carefully, I would have to say Luis1. But it's cool, don't worry about it. I was just in a bad mood after reflecting on my weekend experience with the Lisboa girls so I might have took it the wrong way. I posted a report in the General Information section for anyone who's interested.

To be fair, the first sauna I ever went to was 18, and due to other members' reports about saunas' strict no alcohol policy, I never thought about ordering it. But a Chinese girl chatted me up in the lounge area and asked me if I wanted something to drink "such as Coke or beer". And I was like, "You can drink beer here? " And she said, "Of course! I'll go get it for you. " That's how I found out you can order beer at 18.

I don't know if it was special service on the girl's part because she was trying to get me to order her (which I eventually did, ha ha) or whatever, but in the 3 times I've been to 18 I've never been denied a beer, whether I order it myself or a girl who's out on the prowl gets it for me. Don't know about ordering more though, because I like to stay sober and sharp when banging these knock out models. Drunk sex is for the barely passable freebies you pick up at bars out of desperation!

I've never ordered alcohol at Rio, but at 18 I can confirm that you can definitely order beer. I'm not sure whether it's free or added to your bill though.

I'm glad to see that my fellow mongers are not foolish enough to believe everything they read, but it's a little rude to suspect a report to be fabricated without any personal experience and without any other forum members saying otherwise.

I ordered beer at 18. Everyone else confirmed about alcohol not being allowed at just about every place OTHER than 18. How does that prove that I'm lying? All it proves is that 18 might be different.

As for that comment about how to tip $100 without any banknotes on me after I've stripped down and showered, you've obviously never been to a sauna in Macau, which is fine, but if you're a sauna virgin, don't make false accusations based on your own inexperience. There are more tactful ways to address your concerns.

today I moved to a Grand Suite in the MGM - which might well become my hotel of choice in Macau. Posher than Venetian and cool view over the water and bridges to Tampa but I miss the Venetian girls a little...

Who would not like the MGM? It is a great hotel with great location, restaurants, and bar. IMHO, it is the best 5* hotel in Macau. The only downside is the price. But if you can afford it, then I say go for it!

I am a huge fan of 18 Sauna and you can definitely order beer there. I do it all the time. As Luis1 mentioned, it is not in plain sight. But again, do you see Coke or juice in plain sight at 18? No, you have to order it and someone will bring it to you.

18 is a bit of an anomaly in this regard, as most other saunas have a strict no alcohol policy. 18 relaxes the rules a bit so ensure their patrons a more relaxing time. However, they have a very strict no drunks policy too. If managements begins to feel that you've had a bit too much, they will deny you further alcohol. One time I was thirsty and finished 2 beers within half an hour. They denied me a 3rd beer even though I was perfectly fine.

As for whether the price of the beer is included in your bill or not, I'm not sure about that as they never let you have enough to make a significant difference, so I never bothered to ask.

Luis1, I think Seamaster811 may have been offended by your choice of words such as suggesting that Seamaster was "confused" about the avaliability of alcohol at 18 and you feeling "uneasy" with Seamaster's entire report because of it. Perhaps giving other members the benefit of the doubt and directing your concerns to the OP would be better decorum.

At Rio you can tip by signing a tip slip with your bracelet number and the tip will be added in your bill at check out.
I used it only when I had a hair cut and the guy insisted I tipped him, in addition to the fee, and was clear on the amount too! It ended up it costed me more than outside, lol

Hangover was heavy as well, good luck to my mate for his check out and long trip back home tomorrow !

Besides this visit to D2 most noticeable event this trip happenned with the girls outside the Venetian at 4am. Noticed many times the girls there runing away from the security but nothing serious, and also that many girls are now hanging in and around the City of Dreams. By 4am there were at least 30 girls outside the Venetian and the security was kind of pushing them to street level. We selected two of them and headed inside the hotel where we were renting 2 Rialto suite for a late night party. But the security actually arrested the 2 girls and took them away somewhere in the compound although we insisted on getting them to our rooms?!? Never seen anything like that before... Quite frustrating, but we later picked up two girls from inside The Venetian - and today I moved to a Grand Suite in the MGM - which might well become my hotel of choice in Macau. I decided to get something to eat first as I was too busy playing craps to eat dinner before. I went to the eating area and got some noodles and a beer. During my meal, a few Chinese girls came up to me to make small talk. They were all 700 series girls and wanted me to get to know them better after I was done eating. I think you misunderstand me. I am not whining about the prejudice of the racetrack girls. I find their attitude amusing and I am conjecturing on what forms the basis of their prejudice. Since I have benefited in the past from the information provided by members of the forum, I am trying to return the favor by giving members who have not yet visited Macau some pertinent information. The bottom line I am trying to convey is that Macau is a great watering hole. The saunas are amazing. The bars are also great places to go and have some fun. By comparison, I find the Lisboa racetrack is a vastly inferior venue. Don’t you agree? I mean the eye candy is fantastic, but that's about it. I also reported that the girl's icy attitude seemed to soften towards me as they got used to my nightly visits. So it is not impossible to get a good shag here if you are patient IMO.

Im from India and when i was in race track, girls just didnt care, they did not even care about older chinese guys, they only went with young guys around 30. however, after few days of strolling, they seem to notice me and were interested in going out with me, but the language skills got the better of us. I think its more issue of cultural gap than anything else plus the language problem.

however, girls in casinos who go around slot machine seems to have no problem at all...anyway, as Natty said..Macau is a great place and it can only get better with more casinos opening up....Macau have a more liberal visa on entry from almost 150 country...so more chances of a hook up with girls from various countries.
