For those who haven't been to PP in a while, there are new Thai style taxi's popping up everywhere. I heard it's a Chinese/Khmer venture. Anyways the last I heard it was 2,000 riel per kilo or something like that metered. Most trips are short so it can be a decent value since some guys pay $3 for tuk tuks trips of 1 or 2 kilos to the riverside etc.

I visited PP and Sihauoukville (in Siha on BiBa I was getting girls for $3 hehe lucky me) on September 18th and stayed for two weeks. This trip really amazed me where in two weeks, I literaly had close to 80 different girls where, prices started from $8- $13 session, this includes tips. 172 is right behind Wat G__(i forget), take street 154 from the river and turn left on street 13 or walk through the Wat (nice bookstore & usually monks & kids playing soccer inside!) and close to the Royal Palace & Nat'l Museum. The street is dark and dirty at night, but safe as there are always drivers sleeping/hanging out at that end of the street. Also, street 154 has many sidewalk barbers-got the best haircut of my life for $1.00 there!

Well, I visited PP on feb 07 and for 8days he had shown and guided me to the fullest. I know he was tired from my constant travels and demeanor, but he came through it. Well, I did tip the guy pretty good, since he had to work extra. Well, I am hiring him again in may for 10days from may 18th to 28th. Trust me he know more than any body since I made sure he had to keep up and found the best places for cheap and awsome. His website is.

Chhoeun Sovann works at the hotel when he's not driving so he can act as an intermediary. I've always been able to get a discount off their website rates.

I know moto w driver is $ 5 usd a day but is not easy to find one that speak

I also have a driver I've used extensively for 6 years. I've used a lot of drivers in the past but I find this guy to totally honest. Doesn't take any commissions. Every other driver I used would. I've traveled Cambodia extensively for years and I know the going rates and when a driver is getting commissioned. Mr. Sovann has never taken a penny from any place he's taken me. He's a true gentleman and well connected with the right people to keep tourists out of trouble. He works at the Big Luck Hotel when he's not driving. I often stay at this hotel because I like the location and the new rooms with the jacuzzi suites. Sovann told me they're about to install some form of wifi.

Guys I know a local man Sam who can take you around town in his Camry taxi or on Moto if needed.

I've used him since 2000 and find him absolutely reliable and honest, as well being a safe driver!
