what is a "man tour"?

it took years of traveling for the man tour founders to realize the depth, breadth, and variety of good times to be had on the north coast of the dominican republic. the philosophy behind the man tour is to help others guys experience the same thing at a fraction of the time and expense. in short, we help you have an unforgettably fantastic time on your vacation!

every man tour is like any other fun evening you have had with friends out on the town. the only difference is one of your friends (your american or canadian tour guide) speaks spanish fluently and knows the territory. he knows the best places to go, and when to go there. he is also up to speed on all the events that may be happening in town on any particular night. your guide makes some suggestions, then the group decides where to go. if there is nothing happening at one nightspot, we move along. if we're starting to have a great time at the next location, we stay awhile.

all tours start at 8:00pm at man tour headquarters which is near the main road close to the turnoff to costambar in puerto plata. it's a $10 or $15 cab ride from most hotels in puerto plata to man tour hq. we have a bite to eat, then head out.

sosua nightlife tour

sosua is unique in the dominican republic and in the northern hemisphere for the number and variety of girls there each night. the area is well policed by dominican politur (tourism police) and policia national (national police). their main job is to maintain a safe environment for visitors, and to keep the area drug-free. bars and discos along the main drag play everything from local bachata and merengue to 60's and 70's retro to techno and trance. the man tour visits all of them, as well as the well-known passions nightclub. the action usually shifts to the casino later in the evening, and we'll often stop there to check it out before heading back.

timing: the sosua nightlife tour starts at 8:00 pm, and leaves sosua at 2:00 am. we'll drop you at your puerto plata hotel at around 2:45 am. time: 6 hours 45 minutes.

puerto plata nightlife tour

puerto plata has the most dance clubs, discotecas, and night clubs on the north coast. they vary from high-end (and relatively expense) nightclubs like la bohem and cristals, to inexpensive discos where the drinks are cheap and the music is loud. they include straight p4p, to those where the ladies also act as waitresses, to "regular" dance clubs where the focus is on dancing and having a good time. two or three times a week there will be live music by nationally-known artists. these events are heavily promoted and always well attended.

timing: the puerto plata nightlife tour starts at 8:00 pm, and ends at 1:00 am. we'll drop you at your puerto plata hotel at around 1:30 am. time: 5 hours 30 minutes.

puerto plata gambling tour

puerto plata has the greatest number and variety of casinos and betting establishments on the north coast. the man tour stops at high-end casinos, and local sports betting shops to give you a spectrum of the available gambling opportunities. depending on the group, we'll usually also drop by a nightclub or two to find some girls who might want to come along.

this is a beautifully decorated huge one bedroom, one bath apartment. it has a private patio in the backyard. there is covered parking. you may see the white vehicle in the photo.

it has a american washing machine, lg microwave, lg fridge lg stove, toaster oven, all brand new. it has premium cable and music with and high speed internet. i will also provide a phone for local calls. (you will need to buy a calling card) and a vonage voice over ip phone. this vonage phone will allow unlimited outgoing and incoming phone calls to the united states.

there are 2 tv's and a 2 dvd players and nice speakers for your ipod.

the apartment is clean clean clean. i have a brand new serta queen matress pillow top. it is a expensive comfortable mattress. always sealed in plastic matress pad with a breathable cloth matress pad.

towels and soap willl be provided. email is the best, but you may leave a voice or text message.

this is a very good area of santo domingo. the apartment is located at #33 gasper polanco, bella vista, santo domingo.

you may find it using yahoo maps or google earth. 5 minute walk to the bella vista mall. santo domingos upscale mall. it is right behind the cecomsa computer store on romoulo bentancourt.

secure 2nd floor location with bars on all doors and windows

i see that a lot of people travel to dr on a regular basis and have plenty of info to share. i'm seriously considering leaving the us and reside in dr. i would like to know if anyone could share job opportunities and living in dr. i do not know the specific areas to work or reside nor have a clue of where to start. i recently turned 40 but still have a young spirit. please advise.

They had met AND talked with guys by way of the site.

1) They don't care about RACE, MONEY, Classism or AGE.

2) They have been open to guys BUT the guys don't speak spanish so it limits their interest.

3) They would be happy living IN the DR or Living in the US. Many have cousins married to gringos from London to New York.

I don't know how else to state this because I had a naysayer chirp in and say it wasn't true but I'll state it again.

IN MY EXPERIENCE and don't judge by the number of posts. Look at the depth of information and you'll see I'm not here to boast just to assist in enjoying the women of the DR. In my experience if a girl is legitamately "Single" meaning free of both Gringo and Dominican LOVE then she is AVAILABLE. The DR is not some Island FULL of ONLY gold-diggers.

These girls are WARMER than Any I've met at heart and remind me of Philipinas because you can be yourself and have Much or Not so much and they will love you to Death.

It was stated that " any girl WORTH having will not fall for some gringo tourist" and to that I agree. BUT. Your game will determine your success.

I LOVE the DR. You can walk up to a girl on the street, get her number and hang out with her the next time she's not working or busy or whatever. You will meet family because if they like you they wan't their families to know you too. I met a girl whose Nephew is a Taxista. SOME of my rides were free but I never called him to go hang with another girl (common sense RIGHT? )

Never been decieved, never been asked for money, never been stolen from. I will continue to explore the DR (latinasinlove included) and maybe I'll find the chemistry I want. I may have already found "her" but I'm just holding out to make sure I'll be happy because I don't want to make a mistake with love, and ALL these girls are loveable.

I will state that I respect ISG and it's members but I will post an opinion and it is just that MY OPINION.

A) I think there is an air of superiority for MANY of the guys on here. Some bordering on racism. (ie, Oh those dark ones are cheap, If you want a light skin spinner then you've got someting special) I think beauty is OBJECTIVE and what I like is Beauty in MY eyes. Do enjoy your preferences, but DON'T state that your Shakira look-alike is better than my Whoopi. Why go to a historically AFRO-CARIBBEAN country and boast about the WHITEST girl you've found. This is the "whitening" Mindset Trujillo instilled in many of these folks and it STILL hangs in the air. No race on earth is any BETTER than any other although SOME may be "better off". I wasn't looking for Hallie Berry in Oslo, Norway. I enjoyed the beauty of Blue eyes and blond hair there.

B) The constant argument about what you pay to play should just HALT. "Get your hands outta my pocket" was said before Malcolm X was assassinated and should remain true. No foreign group of people is gonna change the P4P prices of a WHOLE COUNNTRY in which p4p has existed before they came.

If YOU the individual are savvy enough. Learn to WALK AWAY if the offer is not to your liking. There will be another "light skinned spinner" closeby who will take the offer. TOO many women to be mad at ONE spoiled chica.

C) Barebacking is that OTHER argument that OTHERS need to stay out of. I am the RULER of My Johnson and should it fall to the wayside mid stride. So be it. It's MINE. Should I be the Prince of 16 babies with 8 women. So be it. It's my money to throw away and my shame as a parental nightmare come true.

I came to the forum to gain useful information. I have read extensively DR, Colombia and Brazil. I get some of the personalities, I've witnessed the frauds, the rivalries, the silly bickering and I will continue to seek while it may be found here. I ONLY wish that you guys would stop claiming to be EXPERTS (because MOST things in life are "perspective" not only your expertise. Experience AND perspective)
