Got back from Peru today. Compared to the weather there, I am trying to adjust to the "cold" here. Couple things. Spent three days in Iquitos. Here is what I can share. The first night there I managed to get ideas from a Mototaxi driver and a night security person at my hotel. There is a strip club called "Al fin manoso. " I don't know the address, you can tell the taxista that it is near the Stadium Max Agustin. (I don't know the exact spelling). The building from the outside looks like a house completely without windows. I got there a little after midnight and there were mototaxis out front. The driver was nice enough to check to see if there is any problems with a foreigner like me to enter. No problem. There is a s /10 charge (about $3. 33 US). Walk in and it has a strip club ambiance with the circular stage in the center and the bar on the right and the left side looks to what seems like a wading pool there. I noticed several chicas with some of the customers, and since I don't speak Spanish that well, I decided to sit at the bar. Bottles of beer for about s /10 soles, large bottles (Jaras) about s /15 if I remember correctly. Some of the chicas came by the bar and it was possibly an invitation for company. I had to ask the bartender what the deal is with having company and I think it was buying a drink for the lady about s /30 (about $10.00 US).

Company would cost about s /30 ($10.00 US) for about 30 minutes. Whether there are other benefits involved I don't know, so I stuck to sucking on my beers. The club stays open till 5 am and your mileage will vary depending on how fluent your Spanish language skills are.

The next day the hotel staff seems to be open enough to recommend talking with the night security person for finding a "acompana." he knew one of the neighbors on the block and he was nice enough to find a chica for me. She would be able to come to the hotel and he advised that one hour offer s /50 soles (about $16.00 US) or "todo el noche " at s /100. In brief, it was a good session, we spent a little time chatting over agua, we spent about 2 hours I a ended up spending s /100. And the sucker that I am, she wanted about s /70 for "ropas why camisa. " so total s /170. Later I did talk to the security person and told him was I paid, he reacted with some silence, and I tried to at least explain I was satisfied because she has an affectionate personality and was open to different acts in la cama. I did see her the next evening and we had a light meal and later spend another two hours in bed but this time I paid s /50. Perhaps being with the dama more than once helps to keep the cost reasonable. Maybe I will occasionally talk with her since I have her number.

Seems like s /50-s /100 is a good figure to use when negotiating time with a lady.

That's my thoughts. (thanks to Festiero for keeping the Iquitos blog going, I sure like this place despite the heat.) I like the passion that the chicas display (at least the onces I have met).

A friend here once told me, that living in Iquitos is like living on an island where everybody is into everybody's business, they want to know who is having sex with whom and then talk about it with everyone. You see these very complicated family groupings where two people shack up and have a couple of kids together, get bored, stray, get pregnant by someone else, split up, shack up with he new person and have a couple of kids with him / her. So it's almost like everyone here is semi related to each other. My room mate speaks a little guiltily about fucking his Prima (who is really hot) but it's all a show, they will pretty much shack up with anyone that is attractive to them. And why not? THis town is packed with young eager teens and Twenties on the prowl, all the time.

My roommate is a 21 year sexual athlete / babe magnet / serial monogamist. So drive around Iquitos of a sunny day, and it is quite obvious that the women here dressed proudly of their femininity. They dress like they are girls, which god love 'them, I appreciate very much. And they stare back at you without any hint of shyness, until you start a conversation, of course. The High schools here have this very nice dress code for the 15 -18 girls, that consists off a tight white button-down blouse, and a navy blue mini dress. White socks and black pumps. This alone has caused me to reconsidered a career in education. The 15 years olds already are stretching those blouses noticeably. And they are looking at men and boys alike with a certain interest. They become sexually active young here and I see what appear to be 15-16-17 single mothers with small children. I know at least 3 30 year olds here whose oldest daughter is starting to date. Go to certain discos and the young girls and boys are all out having simulated sex on the dance floors. They are called Chibolas- sexually active teens. You need to be very careful here. There are some scams running, I am told with certain smoking hot, girls and their policeman- boyfriends. I shouldn't have to spell that one out for you- ask for an ID if you are at all uncertain. Personally I prefer women to girls, and freedom to jail.

Selva girls are noted for being very amorous lovers, and I can attest to this. Many of them are small in stature, which is also my preference. But they don't have very open / dirty minds. They love to fuck, but if you are looking for real perverts, I would stay in Lima. They don' t like to be photographed or videod unless they know you really well. The girls working the Nightclubs here are mainly from out of town. Too many people talking about your business to be in the sex trade in your own town.

You will find everything here from Streetwalking girls, and trannys (lady boys are absolutely gorgeous- if that's your thing) dig a little ways in and there is a network of ladies who make extra money on the side from sexing with extranjeros. They are not hard to find, except you need to know who to talk to. The Nightclubs range from delightfully dievy hovels where most everything is on the menu, and many have rooms available to see to it, you get what you want with a minimum of fuss, to low rent strip club affairs that offer dancer shows and a hostal next door. The girls are available para llevar also, should you prefer your dish served as room service in your hotel. The Chongos out by the airport looked like fun, although that is not my thing. Simply walking the "Boulevard" of an evening bring results too, and the Discos are well stocked with semi pros on a weekend night.

The eye candy quotient here is just startling, Just the sheer density of cute girls is really amazing. Then you begin to figure out that unless you want to risk certain activities, most of those are off limits. That doesn't make it any less fun, that just means you have to work a little harder to find what you are after.

I am closing out another business trip to IQT, and must say this one has been enjoyable to say the least. Good food, good people, good business and whiplash worthy cichas make for an attractive mix.

The bad. My trip to Iquitos was cut short as I picked up a bug that could not be dealt with there, so I had to return back to the states. After a few weeks of strong antibiotics I am starting to get better. I became very complacent and ate at places I should not have.

The Good. I did get to do a lithe mongering. I usually do not eat at Ari Burgers but I am glad I did. I like to flirt with all the girls at the restaurants and super markets I go to.
